OK, poignant is probably not the right word. “Insightful” is better. Hm. I thought the right word started with a “p.” Alas. I’m speechless. Kinda. In a talkative kind of way.
“Republican primary voters in blue states, often with democrat votes in open primaries, picked our designated loser. As predicted, Romney lost. Y’all were warned. We cannot beat progressives by voting for progressives.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
And believe it or not, voters (or non-voters, as it were) like you played right into the hands of progressives. You act as if nominees like McCain or Romney were sad that they lost. They were very happy to be losers to serve their masters. True, they are part of the Uniparty Ruling Elite, but at least if McCain was elected, we would have had Palin in position. Now she’s a writer. And we will have eight years of Obama’s destruction, plus his ultra-radical court appointments for decades to come.
Had McCain or Romney been elected, at least we could have incrementally moved the football toward our own goal. Now the wrong team is first and goal, and the clock is starting to run out.
All because a few hundred thousand “conservatives” were too ideologically “pure” to vote for a centrist candidate.
As for Governor Palin, if she runs she gets my vote. If not, she is an effective voice for the conservative movement.
“Jeb Bush will be the nominee in 2016. Rick Perry will be second.”......
Maybe so but we’ll get whatever loser(s) they can find.
Dead on. The eGOP is dead to me. Conservative candidates will get my vote. I’ll leave the selection blank otherwise.
