Jews are SCARED. In the first three months of 2014 more Jews left France for Israel than at any other time since the Jewish state was created in 1948.
The hundreds of rockets raining down on Israel are considered acceptable. Retaliation (with phone-call warnings , "knocking" to prevent civilian casualties,) is "massacre by the Jews." And the White House, of course, is silent.
Europe is ablaze with Jew hatred, and North America is, too. The "Palestinians" own the streets, the schools, the colleges, the immigration process, the White House.
If you want to help, you can do these things:
LIGHT A MENORAH (with Christmas lights or other lights) in your window. The Menorah is the 7 or 9 branched candleabrum. The 7 branched version is the old-school "temple" version with three lights on each side and a higher ("Shamash") candle in the middle. It means "Israel."
The 9 branch version with four on each side of the higher light is actually a "Hanukkiah." It is a special version of the original with reference to miracles, sacrifice, and bravery. (see "Hannah and her seven sons," see "Book of Maccabees."
BOTH Menorahs represent fearlessness in support of the ONE LORD, the Lord Almighty, in particular, His appearance to mankind in the form of the "burning" bush.
Politically, it also says I AM NOT AFRAID TO SUPPORT ISRAEL.
Evil thrives on decent peoples' unwillingness to take a public stand.
Use Christmas lights or whatever to show passers-by:
I AM NOT AFRAID OF EVIL.
I hope you will join us.
Please repost as you like, make it yours!
Love to all.
I’ve done this in the past and I will do it again this year. In fact I had a lovely menorah that I bought at Woolworths. Might ping you later this year for the prayer.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you, Jerusalem. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces (Psalm 122:6-7).
God, I pray for the peace and protection of Israel and Jerusalem and the people you love. Defeat those that hate them and You without a cause.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
I don’t think symbolic acts are going to have any impact on Western culture.

If you want to say the prayers for the Menorah, usually reserved for Hanukkah, they are:
1. Baruch Atah Ado-nai E-lo-he-nu Me-lech ha-olam a-sher ki-de-sha-nu be-mitz-vo-tav ve-tzi-va-nu le-had-lik ner Cha-nu-kah.
2. Baruch Atah Ado-nai E-lo-he-nu Me-lech Ha-olam she-a-sa ni-sim la-avo-te-nu ba-ya-mim ha-hem bi-zman ha-zeh.
3. Baruch Atah Ado-nai E-lo-he-nu Me-lech Ha-olam she-heche-ya-nu ve-ki-yi-ma-nu ve-higi-a-nu liz-man ha-zeh.
Translation:
1. Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to kindle the Chanukah light.
2. Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who performed miracles for our forefathers in those days, at this time.
3. Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who has granted us life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this occasion.
Thanks..tomorrow I go get a Menorah and light it.
this is more than a symolic act...In the window it educates people and gets them aware of what’s going on!
We have electric “Christmas candles” that are maybe 2.5W per bulb on a little pedestal. Seven in a row with one slightly elevated in the middle... Tells everyone where we stand and if some “Palestinian” bitch (they’re always Syrians or Jordanians or Iranians... Never actually been there, usually educated HERE) throws a brick through the window let’s just say that would be a bad idea to about three blocks.
Saved.
I was not necessarily saying prayers for the Menorah, but for Jerusalem, Israel, and God's people, the Jews.
“commanded us to kindle the Chanukah light.”
What does this mean? The history?
Total support for Israel here.
My prayer is that they find the people who are launching rockets and kill them all.
As will I.
I’d be happy to do so and think it’s a good idea as we wholeheartedly support Israel, but where would we buy a menorah this time of year?
Thanks for your help, if you can.

Prayers are not said for the Menorah. There are no representations of a deity allowed in Judaism. The prayers are to thank the Lord for commanding the Jews to kindle the light. If you go to a synagogue you will see no representations of the Lord, just as we learn when Moses descends Sinai. No images.
God bless you and God bless Israel.
I believe it is recorded that Jesus observed the ‘Feast of Dedication’ (Chanukah). The blessing indicates God commanded the lighting of Chanukah lights, but such a command is not recorded in the Bible. Are those reciting such a blessing blaspheming?
Pray for Israel!
I’ll put the Menorah in the window by my Gadsden Flag.
Yes, in fact you are correct. Any bearded fool who defies the BIBLE (The New Covenant and the Holy and Eternal Lordship of Jesus of Nazareth [Christ, Son, LORD and FATHER, MAN, GOD Personal and Worldly Saviour] through the vision of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John)to the exclusion of the so-called “Old” testament and “Torah” and the so-called “ONE GOD” are NOT in keeping with the One Multiple True and Holy Apostolic Faith in accordance with the Will of the Fathers of the church and must be burned in accordance with the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Intercessions, Saints, Kings, etc. Oh well, clever boy. “Save yourself!”
