President Barack Obama provoked fury in the U.S. on Thursday by casually devoting less than a minute to the deaths of 295 people aboard a Malaysian airliner, as he began an often jokey 16-minute speech about the need to expand America’s transportation infrastructure.
There are no confirmed American dead, an earlier Reuters report claimed that it was feared that as many as 23 U.S. citizens had perished. Obama declared in Wilmington, Delaware that 'it looks like it may be a terrible tragedy,' but not before enthusiastically declaring that 'it is wonderful to be back in Delaware.'

The jokes weren’t well connected to the occasion. The one about how bad-looking is Biden could have been something like, “They say Joe Biden isn’t the best looking person to ever come out of the state of Delaware. Well, I’d bet he’s better looking right now than those 295 passengers and crew members.”
The one about how illegible is Jack Lew’s signature, instead of saying it looks like a caterpillar crawling along the bottom of the dollar, Obama could have said “it looks like the wreckage of a Boeing 777 strewn across the Ukrainian countryside.”
I'd rather guess that that is exactly what was on TOTUS. He only reads what his handlers want him to read , and those folks see nothing wrong with this at all.

IIRC, after the jihadist shooting/murders at Ft. Hood, the Caliph (”Obama”, or whatever his name is) responded by giving a shout-out to some Indianian or something before mentioning the attack.
Airplane "crashes" are "tragedies".
Airplane shoot downs are beyond that, they are murder.

He issued a "stern" message to the Russkies and Ukrainians to not disturb the crash site. The Russkies and Ukrainians are probably quaking in fear...OR...they just can't stop laughing. What a douche bag.

If anyone offered the idea that after 9/11 America would elect Barack HUSSEIN Obama, a one term Senator with the experience of a community organizer and Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” as his spiritual adviser would be declared certifiably insane and rushed to an asylum. My work computer is in the shop, so I was at home and happened to see the start of the conference. They showed both teleprompters. The cold-hearted sob was reading from them immediately, including the part about how this “might” have been a tragedy.
