The Redskins. Just the mere mention of the name is enough to bother some people. Well, one federal judge ruling on a case about the team had forbade any references to the name in court or in court documents, and aside from a footnote, Redskins is never mentioned once in his ruling.
U.S. District Judge Peter Messitte wrote in that footnote, Pro Footballs team is popularly known as the Washington Redskins, but the Court will refrain from using the team name unless reference is made to a direct quote where the name appears. And so, when he referenced the team in the ruling, he only called them the Washington team.
Early on in the case, Messitte ordered that the team name not be used in his courtroom, putting him in good company with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which recently revoked the teams trademark because of the supposed offensiveness of the name.
Heretofore referred to as “The Crimson Epidermis”.
He is obviously biased and should recuse himself. If he doesn’t, the lawyers should move for a mistrial.
Another idiot judge.
How easily we were sucked into believing, as those liberals told us some three decades ago, that refraining from using certain words in favor of blander euphemisms would result in benefits of reduced shame and fewer instances of lowered self-esteem.
We see in blossom that elimination of free speech is what was behind their thinking and that they used their soothing words to deceive the rest of us and draw power and influence unto themselves. And there’s no limit to what targets on which they’ll aim their now-powerful weapon.

"the football team whose name shall not be said."
This is becoming a joke. The name has been used for decades. There is no comparison in using the word redskin the name of a football team to say using the “n” word when talking about blacks
What’s next?
Any person exhibiting this kind of prejudice to a legal, tax paying, decades old company is not fit for the bench.
Or for dog catcher.
What’s next?
“Oklahoma” means “red people”.
Lookout!
