I could I suppose make some pithy comment about the backlash that would occur if the mainstream media picked this up..
chances are that wont happen....
I could take some small comfort in the possibility that the American People might find this somewhat repulsive and demand the deal be quashed...but fat chance.

...In a speech last March, the Treasury Department’s undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, David Cohen, said fundraisers in Qatar were collecting donations for extremists in Syria, including ISIS and al-Nusra.
“Press reports indicate that the Qatari government is also supporting extremist groups operating in Syria,” he said. “To say the least, this threatens to aggravate an already volatile situation.”
Don’t worry. Qatar can easily afford it.

Here is how it goes:
1. Big commission paid to local rep to secure the sale.
2. Local rep “shares” his commission with various levels of the ruling class.
3. The ruling class promises not to resell the arms to the bad guys.
4. The ruling class loses track of the weapons.
5. The weapons are sold at huge markups to the bad guys.
6. The ruling class members fly to Lindon to celebrate.
7. Go back to 1. And repeat indefinitely.
Uncommon Treason is a common vice in this (mal)administration ...
