There is a legal truism that does apply, words never justify an assault.
My office prosecuted any number of A&Bs that were the result of someone being hit for what they said.
I have often wondered what makes these elite warriors tick. It seems obvious that they differ in a lot of ways but there must be some things they all have in common.
The common wisdom in ancient Greece was that the Spartans were not that much better in individual combat but as a unit they were literally unbeatable. The Persian’s 10,000 Immortals were also elite but they really didn’t fare any better than the regular troops when opposing the Spartans.
Different situations call for different skills. If I were in a house surrounded by a dozen German soldiers I would love to have Audie Murphy and Sergeant York with me. If I were trapped in an underwater cave with only an hour’s supply of oxygen, it would probably be nice to have Swede Momson there.
Despite the TV shows trying to prove it, there is just no way to know which warriors were the best ever. My guess might be Alexander’s battle hardened Macedonians and Greeks. Maybe the Japanese Samurai.
Just how good was Ventura? I suspect he wasn’t but he must have had something to go through the physical and mental trials he did as a Navy Seal.
I never could stand Ventura. Obnoxious egomaniac!
And most interesting is that the conspirator in chief cowardly waited until after Kyle was dead before filing this suit. He is beneath contempt
And Jesse thought his pathetic reputation was tarnished BEFORE the trial.
