I have yet to hear any current “conservative” candidate running for a federal office remind voters of the vote about God the democrat (in name only) held at their 2012 convention.
I sent my senator, Rob Portman, a letter expressing my disappointment in him. He used to be my congressman, in the very conservative Ohio 2d, and at that time he was a “very conservative” representative of the 2d district.
It’s a revelation to see his transformation after being elevated by the GOP-E to budget director under Bush. He’s not the same man...if he ever was — and that part is discouraging.
