Mississippi attack ads that painted conservative Republicans and tea partiers as racists were funded by Senate Republicans, RedState editor-in-chief Erick Erickson has confirmed.
Advertisements by All Citizens for Mississippi, which attacked state Sen. Chris McDaniel and painted conservatives as racists, were partly funded by Sens. Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, Rob Portman, Bob Corker and Roy Blunt, RedState reported.
According to documents filed with the Federal Elections Commission, All Citizens for Mississippi received funding from a Haley Barbour-backed group called Mississippi Conservatives.

The enemy within...
“I have a couple of questions. How do we know that it is not the Demon party donating this money in the names of long time Repubs?
Who benefits most from a split in the Repub party this fall?”
We don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water. Yes, we have a LOT of RINOs. They belong in the Dem party. But that’s why we call them RINOs - they are not really Republicans. They are tainting the party and now, when I think of a Republican, that is what I think of. Sadly.
But there ARE still some good ones. They are getting harder to find - but we need to find and support them. McDaniel being one. (Of course, I have no idea if he IS a good one or will stay that way. Their spines seem to crumble when they hit DC. But supporting Dems who we know want the destruction of this party isn’t an option.)
Mississippi Conservatives, in turn, was funded in part by Sally Bradshaw of the RNCs Growth and Opportunity Project, former RNC Chairman and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, the United States Chamber of Commerce, and the political action committees created for Senators Mitch McConnell ($50,000), John Cornyn ($50,000), Rob Portman ($25,000), Bob Corker ($25,000), and Roy Blunt ($5,000), the report said."
Since the Reagan revolution, the Beltway GOP moderates KNEW they had to wrap themselves in a "Conservative" mantle for every election, beginning with Bush I, because that is what the mainstream party members wanted to hear. It's just a lie that's becoming obvious to more and more voters.
“How do we know that it is not the Demon party donating this money in the names of long time Repubs?”
After the comments that have spewed from the sewer holes of GOP-e scum about TEA Partiers, e.g., McConnell’s desire to punch them in the face, I have no doubt.
“Who benefits most from a split in the Repub party this fall?”
Aside from the dems, the GOP-e, because those schlubs have no desire to saddle themselves with the work and responsibilities of majority status. They’re all “good friends” (Gawd, I hate that Senatorial expression) anyway, so the RINOs won’t miss any cocktail parties or golf invites.
I am quite ready to see the TEA Partiers and other Conservative stalwarts jump from the GOP and migrate to the U.S. Constitution Party. Moving to an existing political entity eliminates the need to establish a party infrastructure. Yes, some party planks will have to change, but a large influx of disaffected GOPers will provide clout.
But I truly have had it with the GOP.
They might be itching for us to leave, but the fun truth is we're here to stay. They're the ones who will be leaving.
I’m not voting for Cornyn
I have very little doubt that the GOP-e did as is alleged but the thought of sawed off Harry Lying Reid being Majority Leader for 2,4, or even 6 years scares the he!! out of me. Can not stand the guy.
If the Repubs split that is what we are looking at. We have been able to do little to stop Obama with the Senate in Dem hands and the thought of what else they can do in at least 2 more years would mean the end. I am not ready for the total destruction of this country. Who says McC would be voted in as leader of the Senate anyway, he has a lot of baggage, may not make it thru the general.
And dont you know they were in on the IRS targeting of Tea Party, too
I believe it. That’s why there is no special committee to investigate.
Meanwhile, a follower of Jeremiah Wright/James Cone’s “Black Liberation Theology” isn’t a racist. /s
...of course referring to the curent resident of the White House.
Boehner pretends to oppose Obama.
Some used to say that Everett McKinley Dirksen also “pretended” to oppose LBJ; then the two were caught selecting failed bombing targets in Vietnam.
Perot supposedly though GHWB was uninterested in MIAs from Vietnam and sought out punishment of the first Bush. Then he endorsed the second Bush for governor to confuse the Democrats.
Is there a third candidate for U.S. Senate in the TX general election? Not to my knowledge, but name the candidate if you can.
“Truth comes out.”
It only came out because federal election law required that it be disclosed. We need to remember that transparency in elections is essential to democracy.
From the article:
“According to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission, All Citizens for Mississippi received funding from a Haley Barbour-backed group called Mississippi Conservatives.”
Route the Vipers out! All of them. Soonest.

Mike
The night that Clinton won his first term I knew that Ross Perot had scammed his volunteers. He was dancing with his wife at an election night ball, he had just lost the election, lost millions of dollars and he was the happiest man I had ever seen.
You don’t think “H.W.’s” loss might have had a little to do with how he promised to be “Reagan’s third term” and then went “Kinder, Gentler?”
Daddy Bush wasn’t very fond of Reagan or his policies.
Sure it did and Perot, with clintons help, gave the “volunteers” someone else to vote for.
If Perot had not been there would Bush have won? Who knows but maybe we would not have had 8 years of clinton.
