He would have gotten thru security quicker if he just pretended he was an illegal immigrant from Columbia (the country) and that Obama said he was okay to fly.

It’s the new 57 state standard that causes the confusion.

Reminds me of the story about the person from New Mexico trying to order tickets to the olympics in atlanta, the amish ticket sales person refused to sell the tickets because she didn’t know New Mexico was a U.S. state.

Let’s kick DC out! That would solve a lot of problems.

I agree with the screener. The DC is clearly separate from the US. Look at the way the leaders and inhabitants act.

Didn't they lose to Brazil in the World Cup?

If you can fog a mirror you can work for the TSA.

In 1996, Olympics in the ATL mixed with Neal Boortz - who had a recording of someone from New Mexico calling Atlanta for some tickets.

The ticket agent said “at this time, only US residents may order” - the potential buyer was thinking I don’t know what - and said again “I’m in New Mexico.”

The ticket agent said [I will never forget this] “New Mexico, Old Mexico, it’s still Mexico”

LOL kind of...

Then there’s the house rep from ATL who feared putting any more military personnel on Guam risked capsizing the island.

This is another story of incompetence for the ages.

Just DAMN!

I had this happen in California. I was flying back from Los Angeles to my home in Ohio. When I showed the TSA agent my Ohio drivers license, he asked me to step to the side, and summoned his supervisor. The supervisor took my license and disappeared for 10 minutes. When he came back, the TSA agent waved me back over, gave me back the license, and said i could proceed.

I asked him what that was all about. “Your license is a non-standard license.” Huh? Its the same one everyone else gets. These are the geniuses supposedly keeping us safe.

What are the chances...

It's understandable.

The people in the District of Columbia don't know what they're supposed to be, either.

Just the sort of quality employee we’ve all come to expect from the government.

How many tax dollars are going annually to support this imbecile?
