This is not as devastating because:
The no more assisted sunday early voting and reduced early voting AND CONTINUED requirement of voter photo id is still required.
AND
for good measure they did manage to purge voter rolls of dead people.

Senate President Don Gaetz and House Speaker Will Weatherford better have a good explanation for rolling over on this issue.I guess we go back to the equally unconstitutional congressional map drawn up after the 2000 Census? Parties in power have ALWAYS drawn up congressional maps in a gerrymandered fashion. The judge who made this ruling would just put blinders on regarding a congressional map drawn up by a democrat majority!

Because, as with many political decisions, the Florida Gop is a subsidiary of the Democrat Party.

Can’t go back to 2000 map because Florida now has more house districts.

That is the shortest news article I have seen. There was no excerpting. That one line above was it.

Cant go back to 2000 map because Florida now has more house districts.Correct..., I forgot about that detail! Looks like a FUBAR 2014 election for us Floridians!

They got Alan West out of the Congress. That was probably all they cared about. The "they" that you speak of is the GOPe or the democRATS?

“The “they” that you speak of is the GOPe or the democRATS?”
Both, but since the Gop controlled the legislature, moreso them.

I have beef with West for snubbing Carl Gallup and Mike Zullo, however, otherwise we like him as being former Broward Co residents. Blacks claiming they being disfranchised on their colors, WHY were they so eager to replace a true black man with a pot smoking spoiled WHITE brat, hmmm??? Answer sooooo clear; Herman Cain got the same treatment and I expect Ben Carson will get the same “medicine”!!!
