Well, apparently those were legal migrant workers (whether we need legal migrant workers or not is a separate issue) from a local farm. In any case that is not a Rowan County-Salisbury School District school bus, as none of the state buses around here have that much black on the paint. That’s a privately owned bus.
I live a few miles from China Grove in Rowan County. It is on the far fringes of the Charlotte metropolitan area about 30 miles from uptown Charlotte along Interstate 85. Rural area, fairly conservative, not really touched heavily by suburbia. Yet. China Grove itself is a small town along US 29 paralleling I-85.
