Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is to return to active duty with the US Army on Monday just four weeks on from his return to the United States after spending five years in captivity with the Taliban.
According to the New York Times, Bergdahl will begin work at the Army North headquarters in San Antonio's Fort Sam Houston, the same base where he has undergone therapy and counseling to deal with his reintegration back to the West.
The soldier will also meet with Major General Kenneth R. Dahl, who is investigating the controversial and still publicly unexplained circumstances surrounding his disappearance in 2009 and imprisonment.

I don’t disagree with you - just stating that to process him through the UCMJ they have to transition him from his POW/MIA/medical/Non-active status to an active status and that the news guys don’t understand this is no big deal and happens all the time.
Make him a PLO! I laughed so hard I think I broke something when I heard that phrase. I’ve not heard that phrase since boot camp in 1966.
The sad fact is that Obama would have to be promoted to hold that status.

Bergdahl is the P.L.O. and 0bama would be his assistant.
2 reasons for that choice: First, they were uninformed .. and couldn’t be bothered to find out. Second, they didn’t want to be seen as “racist” if they didn’t vote for him.
And .. a lot of the youth have grown up accepting black people in positions of power .. so it was no big deal to them.
