Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is to return to active duty with the US Army on Monday just four weeks on from his return to the United States after spending five years in captivity with the Taliban.
According to the New York Times, Bergdahl will begin work at the Army North headquarters in San Antonio's Fort Sam Houston, the same base where he has undergone therapy and counseling to deal with his reintegration back to the West.
The soldier will also meet with Major General Kenneth R. Dahl, who is investigating the controversial and still publicly unexplained circumstances surrounding his disappearance in 2009 and imprisonment.

I knew this was coming as soon as the word was out that the investigators had not interviewed any of his former unit.
This is just so typical of a pres who HATES his military .. support the deserter and keep in prison the hero Marine.
I hope America can survive the next 2 years .. because from where I sit, they’re going to be brutal.
Could be though I have absolutely ZERO faith that he will ever be tried for anything. Not in Obama's America, anyway.

On the day he signs into the unit....you can start the clock to ticking. Figure within twenty-one days that he will be in front of some medical board and asking for a hundred-percent disability. By day sixty....he’ll be approved for medical discharge and sent out. Within two years....I’ll even predict that he gets on a plane and flies back into Afghanistan or Pakistan to be with “his people”.
The thing is....if the Army had looked at the discharge paperwork that the Coast Guard did....they should NEVER have taken the guy in. He was a guaranteed nut-case, and we are giving this guy $1 million in disability payments for the rest of his life....for being a nut-case. Unbelieveable....so much money to waste....no one acting responsible and doing the right thing.

The guy is a deserter who willingly sought out the muslim terriorists (Haqqanis, I think) and joined with them. He taught them to play badminton and was given a loaded firearm to use with them on a target range.
