Come on. Put the bong down. Soccer the best sport ever? Name one ligical reason way this is so. Soccer is barely a sport, no scoring, no excitement, no scoring, games which end in a tie, noexcitement. Did I mention that this contest is boring has little scoring and games end in a tie.
Americans support manly games of contact and scoring.

Tell Bastian Schweinsteiger that there’s no contact in soccer.

I agree. It’s too hard to score, and the opposing teams are too good. That’s unfair, and un-American.

Your argument isn't particularly "ligical."

There is a lot more contact in soccer than there is in baseball or basketball.

Football and hockey have more contact, but they also have elaborate exoskeletons built around the players.

Soccer has probably has the highest ratio of contact to protective gear of any major sport (unless you consider rugby a major sport, which is a separate conversation).

But that isn't the most glaring flaw in your analysis. It's this:

Why is a game more "manly" if it is easier to score goals rather than more difficult?

If I go to a baseball game that is scoreless after nine innings everyone talks about it being a pitcher's duel.

You must have loved that Georgia Tech game against Cumberland which they won 222-0. Talk about excitement.

I’ll take 1-0 any day over that kind of excitement.

Fussball is akin to a great baseball game with Koufax and Cy Young pitching. In fact home runs were rare in Young’s day.

Not much difference in waiting for that winning home run or soccer GOAL ! And Fussball has more ongoing action between scores.
