Rep. Gohmert: Obama Wants $67,912 for Every Illegal Alien Minor

Pres. Obama is asking Congress for $3.7 billion - $67,912.28 per child - to deal with 57,000 minors illegally entering the U.S., Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) tweeted today.

But, the problem is more than money, Rep. Gohmert tells MRCTV, since Obama's threats and imperial actions are sending "the message that America has become lawless":

"His lawlessly announcing his one-man legislation allowing people to come illegally and stay illegally sent the message that America had become lawless and would not be enforcing our own border or laws. Now, demanding money or else he'll allow even more devastation to our health, education and housing systems should not be condoned nor encouraged."

"The United States has been invaded by about twice as many people as invaded France on D-Day," Rep. Gohmert tells MRCTV.

The congressman also blasted Pres. Obama for engaging in recreational indulgences like cards, golf, and billiards at times when the U.S. was in crisis:

"Since we have heard reports that President Obama went and played cards while our SEAL team was going after Bin Laden, and disappeared when our Consulate was under attack in Benghazi until he showed up at a fundraiser in Las Vegas, his decision to take a break from golf and play games of pool while America is being invaded is not surprising.

"Not only has he refused to take action at securing the border, he has been and continues to prevent his massive cadre of federal bureaucrats from enforcing the law and protecting us from invasion."

It can take literally years to process requests for legal status in the United States. This will be on the plate of the next President.

Border Patrol checkpoints are inland, 40 miles or whatever, still, I think the Border Patrol actually does patrol parts of the Border, Rio Grande. Customs is at the actual border crossings.

I’m not vouching for this source but seems there was the incident where a boy was shot right on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande and Border Patrol was accused of it. So that shows they are right on the Border. I know what Governor Perry said, that sounds like he is talking about the Checkpoints near the Border.

There was a news story several months ago announcing that Obama was repositioning the border patrol inland and the border patrol put up a stink about it. This is not debatable and not news.

Supposedly there are 1000/day coming across that sector in South Texas. They know the train that they arrive on from Guatamala and the paths they take from the train to the border.

And they claim they can’t stop them at the border???

Who are they kidding???

I’m n St Augustine and went into Chic Fil A yesterday and there were 3 border patrols agents there.
Thing is that I live over a thousand miles away from the border.

Then if we did that the Mexicans would have to deal with them seeing as they let them into their country to get here.

Watch Mexico put a stop to it right away if those illegals had to stay in Mexico.

I like the guy, just always think Gomer though I know the correct pronunciation. I wish I could get it out of my head but so far no luck. Gohmert is the real deal and a hero in this fight, one of the few. Wish he was my rep. You are lucky to have him.

Ill tell you what give him the money, But mandate in the bill before any of it is spent that every last one of theses children get sent back to their parents in their home country.
Then what ever is left has to go towards building the border fence.
