Pres. Obama is asking Congress for $3.7 billion - $67,912.28 per child - to deal with 57,000 minors illegally entering the U.S., Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) tweeted today.
But, the problem is more than money, Rep. Gohmert tells MRCTV, since Obama's threats and imperial actions are sending "the message that America has become lawless":
"His lawlessly announcing his one-man legislation allowing people to come illegally and stay illegally sent the message that America had become lawless and would not be enforcing our own border or laws. Now, demanding money or else he'll allow even more devastation to our health, education and housing systems should not be condoned nor encouraged."
"The United States has been invaded by about twice as many people as invaded France on D-Day," Rep. Gohmert tells MRCTV.
The congressman also blasted Pres. Obama for engaging in recreational indulgences like cards, golf, and billiards at times when the U.S. was in crisis:
"Since we have heard reports that President Obama went and played cards while our SEAL team was going after Bin Laden, and disappeared when our Consulate was under attack in Benghazi until he showed up at a fundraiser in Las Vegas, his decision to take a break from golf and play games of pool while America is being invaded is not surprising.
"Not only has he refused to take action at securing the border, he has been and continues to prevent his massive cadre of federal bureaucrats from enforcing the law and protecting us from invasion."
Now you didn’t really think Obama would submit a financial request without a little extra billion or two of ching for the RAT campaign coffers. Did ya Louie?
Well, at $14,000,000.00 from the publisher and 161,000 in book sales, H! Made abot $88,000.00 per book. So, yeah, that sounds about right
Move the border patrol to the border instead of 50 miles inland and it will cost nothing —
Congress has allowed it. End of story.
mexican reparations. to help create aztlan.
Yep, begin the Reconquista.
It’s only $87 per book.
I guarantee that if you just gave each of these kids $10,000 to get on a plane and go back home, they’d all be gone in a week.
As I keep posting on these,
Give them the $$$ but attach provisions banning Obamas defered amnesty program and allowing states like AZ to enforce immigration law.
She got $14 million form the publisher. Divide that into 161,000 that she sold in three weeks, 1/3 of which were read, and so sales are not expected to climb. That’s equal to $86,9656.52 per item paid for, in this case, book.
I know it sounds low, but rest assured that the Dems will be back later to ask us to pay for their housing, food, schooling, healthcare, Obamaphones, Obamamobiles, college, abortions, clothes, medical marijuana, and eventually their retirement.
Sounds reasonable.
Wonder how soon their home country’s will fork it over.
Round 'em up and march their asses to the border crossings, Trail of Tears style. Feed them beans and rice and water them... They will be gone in a month at littlecost to the taxpayer... AND THEY WILL NOT WANT TO EVER COME BACK.
Perhaps they will tell their friends not to bother.
Not one more damned nickel to Obama to settle criminaliens!
Bus them all to the border immediately, refuse entry to those that continue to arrive every day, at bayonet point if necessary, and invade Mexico for the purpose of destroying all north-south railroad track.
A complete moratorium on all new immigration applications and begin deportation of those rats who have been “hiding in the shadows,” while coming out frequently to demand benefits, amnesty and citizenship.
That’s a good start to fix our broken immigration system and it lets everyone know exactly where we stand. Oh yeah, and—
Impeach Obama!
Or 10 bucks from every man, woman, and child in the US. I told my kids I wanted 10 bucks from each of them so we can pay the illegals to come here and take their jobs when they grow up.
To read later.
and what about all the adults?
