Israels air campaign in Gaza may violate international laws prohibiting the targeting of civilians, the U.N.s top human rights official said Friday.
Navi Pillay, the U.N. high commissioner for human rights, said the Israeli military, which claims to have hit more than 1,100 targets that it says are mostly rocket-launching sites, and the Gaza militants, who have fired more than 550 rockets against Israel, must abide by international law. [

Pillay says shes seen for herself in Gaza how traumatic the airstrikes and rocket attacks are for civilians, particularly children. Her office says civilians bear the brunt of the conflict now

Pillay is a born liar. Wonder if she is proud of creating a bigger mess in South Africa than what it was under apartheid?

Don't insult cretins.
Many of the people at the UN are evil. Not all, but enough.

You can take what the UN knows about ‘legality’ and fit it onto the head of a pin... and still have room for a Hummer!

I missed the part about the rockets fired on Israel are against international humanitarian laws?
When the muslim terrorist fire a rocket against Israel, Israel fires one back. Unfortunately for the muslim terrorists, Israel's aim is a lot better.

It depends on if you view non-uniformed combatants as civilians or terrorists.

Here we go again. THE UN WANTS TO STOP ISRAEL FROM DEFENDING HERSELF. Never mind that HAMAS has been lobbing rockets into Israel and said they will not stop. The only thing preventing JEWISH casualties, is the “IRON DOME” Israel has. It doesn’t matter what this corrupt organization says or does, Israel will continue to defend herself.

Israel has a much better legal justification for its air raid of Gaza than Obama had for his air raid of Libya.

“Do the rocket attacks into Israel violate international law against targeting civilians???”
Someone correct me if I am wrong here. Based on the Geneva Convention, If you are a terrorist and you attack a country, can’t you be captured, tortured and killed?

As if any sentient being gives a smelly Obama about the UN.
In fact, I’d pay Israel to take out the UN.
Don’t care that it’s in NY, the collateral damage raises the nation’s IQ.

had the moosie turds that hit us on 9-11 instead hit the U.N. would anyone really have cared???

UN has been notoriously silent on rockets launched into Israel.
Therefore they should have no standing now.
