ATLANTA, Ga. - A handful of undocumented children, among the thousands held in federal facilities around the country, were flown to Atlanta to reunite with their families at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Wednesday.
The teenagers were escorted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with several other children from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, to reunite with their loved ones.
Federal Health and Human Services workers are trying to link some of the thousands of undocumented children flooding into the country, with relatives legally here, ICE officials say.

Does any one have a screen shot of the federal bid for escorts for minors that was bid out in February?
I doubt if the “parents” are even questioned on their status, but if they are, they can purchase some ID on the street for a few bucks. I’ve read that a lot of these “parents and family” are being paid to claim the “children” just to get them released.
Carry some lice shampoo for immediate use after departure of any flight.
“Trying” to link the children with relatives. I wonder why they chose Atlanta to “try” to find a family member? Did they throw a dart at a map?
Did the parents get a letter saying “Your kids will be on the 5:15 out of Brownsville. Be there to pick them up.”?
I’m sure they were thrilled to learn that their children had made the trip safely. They hadn’t heard from them in 6 years.
The article probably only talked about a small percentage of the parents, the ones here legally -
"..Federal Health and Human Services workers are trying to link some of the thousands of undocumented children flooding into the country, with relatives legally here, ICE officials say.."
Good PR piece by focusing on the exception rather than the majority.
Isn’t that special? Give the Feds an award. It’s a “love” thing. The reunion should have been in their home country and this isn’t it.
a family , well any(LOL) family
Thank you
