House Democratic Whip Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) says illegal immigrant children would “just stand at the fence” if the federal government built the double-layered fence required under the 2006 Secure Fence Act.
During a press briefing Tuesday, CNSNews.com asked Hoyer, “Should Congress revisit building a physical, double-layered fence as was included in the 2006 Secure Fence Act?”
“Let’s say you build a fence, just hypothetically, and you saw five hundred children standing at the fence, and you saw them standing there 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 96 hours. There’s a fence there and they can’t go anywhere and they stay there. What do you do?” Hoyer responded.

They're not going to stand there that long. After a while, even the dumbest of them is going to realize "No free stuff here" and turn around and go back.

He mentions 500. What about 500 thousand or 500 million? If all of Central America wants to come to America, shall we admit them?
Hoyer & co. say these people will do he jobs Americans wont do. If Americans wont do them, why would illegal aliens do them when the government will give them free stuff, too? Isn't that the way the Rats entice new Rat voters? Who will stand up in Congress & deny these “children” food, shelter, & medical care? What will it cost to put millions more people on welfare?
I suppose hes never heard of the concept of going home.
That being said children would not stand there they would find ways around, under or over the fence.
Anyone with kids knows their rather cleverly little rascals. There has yet to a fence invented that can keep out a bunch of unsupervised children much less one being escorted by experienced and criminal adults.

Even if a few of them stand behind the fence they're not going to stand behind the fence in perpetuity.
