Obama: Give $3.7B For Border I Said Was Secure In '12

Immigration: During his re-election campaign, President Obama said emphatically that the southwestern border was secure. Now he wants billions to cope with the flood of illegals crossing that very border.

According to various news accounts, the number of illegals coming across the border has surged to 35,000 month. In just the past few months, more than 50,000 unaccompanied children crossed over, creating a huge humanitarian crisis.

How can this possibly be happening?

After all, didn't Obama tell us when he ran for re-election that the border with Mexico was secure?

As a matter of fact, he did. Many times. In a 2011 speech in El Paso, Obama ripped Republicans for holding up immigration legislation because of border security concerns. "Over the past two years we have answered those concerns," he said. "We have strengthened border security beyond what many believed was possible."

"The Border Patrol has 20,000 agents — more than twice as many as there were in 2004," he said, adding that the border "fence is now basically complete."

A year later, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told lawmakers: "Simply put, the Obama administration has undertaken the most serious and sustained actions to secure the Southwest border in our nation's history."

And this is to say nothing of Obama's 2008 campaign promise to secure the border using "additional personnel, infrastructure and technology."

None of that money will go to border security

This money will likely go to pay the coyotes for their expensive services, the Mexican government for their visas and assorted bribes for facilitating this outrage, and the cost of shuttling millions of unwanted aliens around the country and putting them up until the feds release them on the unwilling public or put the in "free" Section 8 housing. None of it will go for border enforcement. None. That is so-o-oo yesterday.

The billions in welfare payments, schooling, SNAP/EBT, medical treatments, and rejoining families (along with extended family from all over) will come from other pots of gold.

Don't worry. We have plenty of money. It will never run out. There is more where that came from. It's only part of being "fair" and "evening the playing field". America will be a better place for it. Just wait and see. /s/

The brief NAFTA honeymoons south of the border, inspired by Bushes, Bush-bots, the Clintons, banksters, Wall St, the vastly rich liberals (billionaires) ... had one certain output:

Their parents telling them about “how good it was, but no more, so you’ll have to go north; the jobs are there, not here in South of the Border NAFTA-ville.”

Like Bush’s TARP, aka Welfare for Banksters and Corporate Cronies of [former] “Capitalism” (read: heavily lobbied-and thereby rigged markets) ... now NAFTA will do what TARP has done:

Force average Americans to pay -— paying for all the injuries to America that Bush’s cronies won’t pay for, nor will Romney’s cronies pay, nor will so many more of the rich liberals ... pay.

I agree, DC will never secure the border. On the other hand, if congress took the $4 billion, figuratively speaking, out of the WH operations funds I wouldn't care where it gets spent.

Give him the money and take it from the foreign aid promised to every identifiable ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT home country and let it be known THEIR country is responsible for the actions of their citizens. When you get in their pocketbook, you'll see a crackdown in the home country. Start with 50% less aid now and increase it 10% per month until none, zero, nada of that country's population is crossing the border. Find every one of the 12 million ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and buy them a 1 way ticket back home, paid for with the promised foreign aid funds. If they return again and again, take more and more of the foreign aid money and build concertina and razor wire enclosures for the ILLEGAL and make life just a bad here as it was back home. Tell the rest to go home the same way you got here€”walk! Screw those that talk about how bad these poor folks have it back home. All this is doing is taking our country, which is devolving into a 3rd rate banana republic politically and making it one economically. Yippee more welfare for.more parasites.

Say NO on Obama’s $3.7 billion illegal alien emergency spending.

He owns this crisis, NO on money for expensive room, board, lawyers, hearings as he won’t follow through on deportations.

I know the law giving juvenile illegals hearings predates Obama. If he can ignore, modify & delay laws on ObamaCare and border enfofcement, he can shorten the hearings process. I suggest as soon as an illegal is caught and identified, put the illegal in the paddy wagon and hold a five minute hearing on the ride to the airplane sending the person back to the home country.

Only allow money on this illegal migrant issue for border enforcement, police to catch them and a fast ride back to where they came from.
