The problem isn’t the voters.
The GOP doesn’t fight to win. They are cheerleaders for their “friends against the aisle. They backstab and undermine any conservative that wins the primaries.
They won’t last many more elections.
GOP has to be changed from within. There are lot more TEA party types in GOP today than 10-12 years ago.
