JACKSON, Miss. U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran won the state's Republican primary runoff over challenger Chris McDaniel by 7,667 votes, according to a certification made by the state Republican Party and submitted to the Secretary of State on Monday, the legal deadline.
The result was wider than the 6,800-vote win counted by The Associated Press after the June election. Tallies usually change as county parties examine provisional ballots and finalize results....

Now he takes the challenge to a judge (by the way, the jump of about 1000 votes is CLEARLY manufactured since McDaniel announced he had over 6900 fraud ballot today, enough to overturn the previous result).
Once the certification has been done by the party, a judge may issue any legal ruling 10 days from now. McDaniel just has to file it.
The courts.
None. The communists machine which included the GOP has it wrapped up. Lawsuit? Forget it. America is the land of the criminals running it and get used to it.
People who vote for Republicans are stupid.
This was expected. Now he takes it to state court and sues to overturn it based on massive voter fraud, enough to cast the outcome in doubt.
If the state court refuses to overturn or even hear, then he can appeal or he can go to federal court and file for a federal injunction to run as an independent or as a write-in.
The vote buying and scale of the fraud may also attract state and federal prosecutors. The specter of prosecution should be enough for Cochran to promptly resign to preserve his pension and retirement perks.
Merely a coincidence that the vote tally increased.
Has McDaniel gotten into the 19K absentee ballots yet?
Also there are FEC violations being investigated, but those probably would not result in an election being overturned.
MS voters are souring on Cochran (and his puppetmasters, inc. Barbour) big time. I think there’s a good chance that Cochran will lose in the general election even if he prevails in this run off. Democrats must love this side show.
McDaniel is a Republican.
Yes the tallies have been on the books for 2 weeks now and the math is pretty simple. The 1000 extra votes were likely a ploy to diminish the argument that enough ineligible votes were found to cast doubt on the outcome.
But then McDaniel is not yet done counting. He still has the 19,000+ absentee ballots to scrutinize and more of the vote fraud is thought to be in those ballots.
Key though is finding a judge who gets it and orders a new election immediately.
As far as I am aware, the 19K absentee ballots have no yet been looked at
If a new election was held. would Cochran drop out?
Defeatism support liberals.

I consider McDaniel to be a Conservative.
Et tu , eGop?
Mississippi law requires McDaniel to file a challenge with the MS Republican Executive Committee. If they reject his challenge, which they will, then he can file suit.

Yeah, sure.
I am no longer a republican. I don’t care if the democrat wins and Obama has free reign for the next few years. The Republican Party is to blame. They are just as bad as the democrats.
I know a lot of people that feel exactly the same way.
Godspeed, McDaniel. I had to quit following this story due to blood overboil.
McDaniel is a Republican that the National GOP spent money trying to defeat. It's a shame that the GOP can't bring itself to put up that much effort to defeat Democrats instead.
