Two weeks ago I heard a report stating all Emperor Penquins would be dead by the end of the century.
Considering the way they live, more ice would pose a dire threat. They nest many miles from the ocean on the very edge of survivability. Less ice would probably be a good thing.

Considering the way they live I’m surprised they have survived at all. For the males, the phrase “long cold winter” takes on a whole new meaning .
