Sarah Palin is dropping subtle hints that she might want to be a panelist on "The View." And by "subtle hints," we mean that she is explicitly saying in an interview that she might want to be a panelist on "The View."*
The ABC show is undergoing an almost total overhaul, with every host but Whoopi Goldberg departing. That means that lots of replacements are needed.

ZACKLY, good point. Good analogy.

And did you bother to read the article? It is third hand...Huff Po via Hollywood Reporter.
“Asked by the Hollywood Reporter if she had any interest in doing a “political talk show,” she replied, “I hear everyone recently got canned from ‘The View,’ maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America’s heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts. You know, someone willing to go rogue.””
That hardly fits the headline or the assertion...Have you not heard Sarah long enough to recognize when she is pulling someone’s leg????

Fox gives a one hour evening weekend show to Huckabee. Give Palin the same thing.
Gosh no! Plenty of downside to that. Besides, I do not receive FNC. And you're comparing Huckabee to Palin?
Give me just one break.
To: staytrue
I think they’d have a really difficult time shouting a hard core conservative like Sarah Palin.
They had pushovers on the show. She’s not a push over.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
Not really. I was calling attention to the negative construction of your original sentence. Please forgive.

Now is when she needs to be planning and collecting funds two years is too late.

I'd like to buy a comma or something, Pat.

Gosh no! Plenty of downside to that. I don't see any downside to a Palin weekend show at all, except that you'd have to subscribe to FNC. Palin could pick her topics, her guests, etc. And maybe she could go on the road occasionally. It would be great.
And you're comparing Huckabee to Palin?
Them's fighting words, pal. Huckabee is a poster boy for the GOPe. And he's boring and unimaginative besides. I still can't figure out how he got a TV show.

Oh man...
Can you imagine if she had them come up to Alaska for a month and they had to live without make-up, go camping and "use the woods", Get around in a STOL SeaPlane with full Yanking and Banking to get in and out of tight spots, ride an ATV, Start a Fire, Set-Up a Tent, Hunt for Small Game and Fish and clean them to eat.
Oh please pass the Popcorn, it would be less than a day before some of her fellow panelist were in full meltdown mode.

The View is so embarrassingly dumb. I hope Palin is not doing this.

Pay to get Fox non-News Channel? Not gonna happen. Not even for Sarah.

No opposition here.

They’re going to need more liberals to make it even.

The offical process begins in 18 months with the Iowa Caucuses. That means time needs
to be spent laying ground work for state campaigns, raising funds, getting backers lined up and
putting a national campaign together. Sarah is just being Sarah with this tidbit.

It is a continuing amazement to me that Governor Sarah Palin lives in the heads of the Democrats, PoHos, predictable trolls, Media Barbies and the like.
An off hand witty remark becomes articles and threads immediately.
If Sarah Palin decides to run, you will know.

Stay clear Sarah, joining the View would be like shoveling $%^t against the tide. Not only will the other hosts gang up on her but ABC would put its millions to destroy her.

Not a smart move, Sarah. We Conservatives need you in this war NOW, we need your support, we need YOU. Keep focused and direct your energy to the destruction of the commies/socialists/marxists...We could sure use you in Murrieta, CA, we could sure use you in Texas. We could sure use you to use your influence with Gov Perry...he must call upon the Natl Guard. Your verbal skills, your wit & humor, you ability to cut to the real issues, is what we need.
We don't need you on leftist crap TV shows. Your place is with the other Conservative politicians who fight for US, Sen Ted Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee, Sen. Gohmert, Trey Gowdy, Sen Sessions to name but a few.
