When was the last time the U.S. citizenry fought for its freedom?
Early-/Mid-1770s, I'd say.
Fought with weapons? That happens every day, too, when freedom loving Americans peacefully carry open or concealed to ensure their freedom from being mugged, raped, and attacked by criminals.
It happened in Nevada, when weapons (unfired) held off the federal government, and helped to expose them.
A fight isn't always about lines of soldiers, in red and blue, or gray and blue, standing in Napoleonic lines and firing on one another.
It's about an attitude that says "Eff you. I'm a free man, and I'll stand up and back you down.
As a Texan, and an American, I have that history as an example to live up to.
The Russians didn't have that.
