Before the end of the Cold War, a group of leftists would hold a protest at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. A group of us would counter-protest.
One year we noted that the leftists had a bunch of college students in their protest. One of our group asked where were our college students. Another counter-protester replied, "Our kids got jobs." I think he had it right.

True. I think also because the left is predominantly pagan and secular, most of them don’t believe in an afterlife. Hence, they believe this present world is the closest thing to Heaven that there could possibly be. And since their view of perfection is that of an egalitarian utopia with no negative consequences for any sexual behavior of any kind that’s why they fight for their agenda non-stop. It’s like their substitute religion.
