Hillary Clinton continued to justify her high-dollar speaking fees on Friday, telling ABC News’ Ann Compton that all of the money she’s made from colleges over the past year and a half has been donated to her family’s foundation. “All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work. So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation,” Clinton said when asked about the criticism she and her husband have faced recently for their wealth. If she wants to donate, why doesn’t she donate to the university, help some of those kids out with their $tens of thou debt bills?

Does she really think that this makes sense to middle America; that she takes the money and gives it to a family foundation which she controls? A family foundation which pays her and Bill and Chelsea big salaries????

She did, to the I love Hillary fund.
She donates the income to the Clinton Foundation. She of course is a trustee of the Foundation, so she draws a salary and expenses ... oddly enough, in an amount just about equal to the amount she donates.
Can I ask a stupid question? What life changing and life saving work does the Clinton foundation do?
I’m not being flippant here. I’m really willing to give the Clintons credit if they are doing something which helps humanity.
I just have no idea what that foundation does. Skeptic that I am, I tend to assume it was set up for self aggrandizement, but, do want to credit the Clintons if this foundation actually does any actual humanitarian work.
