“Loud music, surly staff with excessive piercings, limited menu of crappy food at inflated pricessomething like a Taco Bell run by DMV.”
Sure fits everything I heard about them. I sort of wanted to try Chipotle but with this added to the pile I think I'll pass. Not boycotting them, just not going there.
Everyone I know loves Chipotle. Have been there once and never went back. Has nothing to do with their politics, I didn’t like their food.
I like the burritos.
However I prefer a little hole in the wall where mama is cooking and there’s a statue of the Sacred Heart in the kitchen. Oh, and flour tortilla chips.
You don’t wait for a check. When you’re ready you go up to the cash register.
The wife and I figured we had to at least try a meal at Chipotle last time we were in Boise, the big city to us.
We finished and shrugged our shoulders and said, ‘don’t get it, why the hype and why is this place so popular??’
Food was nothing special; atmosphere is non-existent; long wait to place order after standing in line forever; noisy dining area...had to wait for a table and a puzzle as to why it is popular at all.
Will never return.
I don’t know of their politics but if you have a Qdoba nearby it’s basically the same food.
