I think Michigan isn’t a death penalty state so maybe his fellow inmates may give him the justice the state can not.

Had this crime occurred forty years ago, it would have been news across the nation.
Today, barbarism is common, and hardly gets noticed.
Thank goodness the murderer wasn’t abused with exposure to Christian precepts in his public school.

The girl's father and a 12-year-old girl related to the family were shot and injured by the gunman, who was seen talking to the father briefly before opening fire, WXYZ reports. Inkster's chief of police says the murder may have been retaliation for a shooting at an after-hours club earlier this year that the father may have been involved in, but the police spokesman says "retaliation" isn't enough to explain the murder of the toddler. "Take somebody's life away for retaliation? I mean, just to mention that as part of a motive is silliness to me," he says. "I can't wrap my head around anything that would make me want to walk up to a small child sitting next to a porch, point a pistol at their head, and shoot them dead. I cant give you a motive."This sounds a little confusing. Something must have been lost translating it into English.

While I am in favor of prompt hanging, it is more to the point that states adopt the firing squad as an alternative to any other means of execution.
Typically, if the *means* of execution is challenged in court, then the execution will be carried out by the default means of a firing squad. So the court challenge will become moot.
And it would be very hard to challenge the efficacy of execution by firing squad. The materials needed, and the expertise, are ubiquitous, and any LEO has the training to carry it out.
Perhaps it could shave 5 or even 10 years of appeals off the sentence of a savage murderer who deserves to die.
