The weather came during the afternoon - I was in the Office and did not hear it or mark it. I got my 40 hours in - left the Office at 1830 and had one of the fastest weekday evening commutes ever - almost broke 40 minutes.
Apparently we had a pretty good storm this afternoon, although I did not see it. I did observe a lot of strewn leaves and tree-branches in the road on my home.
A cold front approaches from the West - if it persists, Arthur will spin his wrath away out to sea in this latitude. If the front falters over the Appalachians, we will get smacked.
I've lived in this little corner of the World since 1956 - the weather prognosticators have never been able accurately to predict where the snow-rain line will be or what the course of a tropical storm traveling up the coast will be.
