I remember being shocked when republicans in the senate voted not to convict Clinton after his impeachment. And I was mystified when republicans refused to contest Obama’s eligibility fraud. I now understand how all of this has been allowed to happen.
I think the GOP-e have entered into a Devil's Bargain with the Dems: "We won't really oppose you, and you don't have the media investigate our kickbacks, taking bribes from lobbyists, mistresses, and taking advantage of interns".
Who is to blame for the failure to convict Bill Clinton in his impeachment proceeding?
1. The 50 GOP Senators who voted to convict on one article and the 45 GOP Senators who voted to convict on the second article.
2. Or the five (ten) GOP Senators who failed to find him guilty.
3. Or the 45 Democrat senators who voted unanimously "not guilty".
Yeah, I can see how the Arlen Specters might have been a disappointment. But the real blame lies with the Tom Harkins.
GOPe and RATS infest the same ship.
I remember the Toon impeachment and there were just a few "band of brothers" who stood up tall and strong....
is it the money?...the blackmail?...is it that they really know we're all going to one world govt and they want their piece of it?....
