CHICAGO (STMW) – One person was killed and at least 35 others were wounded in weekend shootings across the city.
The fatal shooting happened Saturday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Maybe if they held the gun vertical rather than turning it sideways, they would bet better ratios.

This is a warm-up for the 4th of July 3- day holiday.

Gee, that’s certainly a reason not to own a gun if you live in Chicago. I’m sure all those illegal gun owners accidentally shot themselves.

Refer the wounded to the nearest VA hospital...they’ll bleed out before they get to see a doctor...problem solved.

I think shooting ranges are taboo in Chi-Town.
Imagine when all the central Americans hit Chi town.
They might not understand that whole gun law thing.
The monthly total was 28 compared to 45 last year. The year to date was 177 compared to 193 in the first six months last year.
What surprises me is that there are on a weekly basis a 30 / 40 to one ratio in shootings vs deaths.
I was reviewing the Chicago Tribune stats page and learned at least one thing. They count every incident as one incident even if multiple people are shot. So it appears that a lot more people injured than the 1,072 they are reporting. I also cannot figure out if they go back to see if people shot later died.

Secondly, there appears to be little reporting on the apprehension of the criminals.
But isn’t gun control supposted to make you safer - you know, the more defenseless you are the safer you are. In Liberal minds anyway.
