A secret agreement between Britain and France to divide up and control the Middle East after they won WWI.

Sykes-Picot was a treaty between England and France which redrew the national boundaries of the Middle East. It totally ignored religious and tribal boundaries. All of that is unraveling and returning to 1912 boundaries
