Representatives of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) stated that they will ruin the Kaaba after capturing Saudi Arabia.
APA reports quoting Turkish media that ISIS wants to take control of Arar city of Saudi Arabia and start operations here.
ISIS member Abu Turab Al Mugaddasi said that they would destroy the Kaaba in Mecca: If Allah wills, we will kill those who worship stones in Mecca and destroy the Kaaba. People go to Mecca to touch the stones, not for Allah.
Popcorn, I need more popcorn.
The civilized world desperately needs another “hammer”
They are not content to just destroy each other.
To quote Henry Kissinger, it’s a shame they can’t both lose.
I was thinking about the scene in Lawrence of Arabia where Omar Sharif shoots the other Arab because he was drinking at the well of Omar’s tribe. He told Lawrence: “he was not welcome, you are.”
I learned everything I needed to know about the Arabs in that scene.
To quote hitlery, “What difference does it make?”. Socialist or muslimist, too darn similar.
And O’Toole says until you people learn to get along, you are a silly people, a small people.
Not hardly. Besides it’ll be a lot more entertaining to just keep them with plenty of small arms and video cams. This needs to be at least a mini-series.
They’ve taken over the Minneapolis Airport.
You can’t buy a newspaper or stick of gum from anybody else.
Is this the big rock that Muslims circle around and throw rocks at?
and comprise about 50% of the TSA screeners
Just as the term Christianity covers widely diverse interpretations, so does the concept of Islam. In a repeat of history, there were times when the Roman Catholic theocracy launched generation-long crusades against ‘heretics’ and the attacked would, in turn, launch counter-attacks against the “Whore of Babylon” in Rome.
In this ISIS screed and attack, they seem to be recapitulating the Byzantine Iconoclasm movement of the 7th thru 9th Centuries. The Iconoclast took the view that Christian Iconography, the visual depiction of Saints and other Christian memes was antithetical to the 2nd Commandment concerning the worship of graven or other images. We still have this battle, now un-bloody, going on in the Christian world. The clean and unadorned churches of various Denominations as opposed to those on the opposite spectrum that seem to have no unadorned space.
Except for the fact that in today’s high technology environment, a single fanatic can wreak devastation with the proper equipment, it would be nice to allow these RoP Jihadists to do the maximum damage to each other. However, given that there are nuclear powers involved and the world dependence upon the oil flows from that area, isolation does not seem to a viable course for long-term good outcome!
Well, finally they have a goal I can support.
When I was a kid, we knew nothing of any of these ridiculous people. Im so much worse off for what I have learned. Let them all destroy each other.

Ditto!
LOL!
The Kaaba stone in a black glass like meteorite, originally a pagan idol. Mohammend salvaged after concurring Mecca => to consolidate power among the local pagans that inhabited Mecca. (Mohammed’s Islam was flexible it seems on idol worship as it was first and foremost about his personal power.). It’s in the corner of the Kaaba, the building the Muslims walk around seven times. If you touch the stone it takes away your sins -it’s black because it’s absorbed the sin. It’s pure idol worship and this is why ISIS wants it destroyed.
The place where they throw pebbles is nearby.
>You shoot a couple of them and they run away.<
.
Tell that to the Russians and Americans who fought and are still fighting in Afghanistan.
Curious that ISIS (wife of Osiris and mother of Horus) would seek to destroy the Kaaba (a meteorite) which, according to the Osiris cult, is his frozen semen fallen from heaven.
Where did you get the perverse idea that they are “people” instead of the sub humanoids they are.
