Charlie Rangel (the opponent of Espaillat), on the other hand, ran in Harlem with ads depicting him as the “Original Gangsta,” has made a fortune and built an empire on corruption and still continues to rake it in...and has no intention of resigning or even saying he’s sorry.

Assemblywoman Gabriela Rosa, 47, told U.S. District Judge Denise Cote that she "falsely got married" to a U.S. citizen and referred to it as a real marriage when she became a citizen in 2005.

If you have any kind of an IQ it seems that it's tough to be caught in a sham marriage.If you're called in by the INS you just rehearse answers like what side of the bed he/she sleeps on.I've read that that's the kind of thing they ask you.

Rosa's plea deal for a lighter sentence was predicated on her resignation and admitting to her crimes. But if she held anything back, the plea deal is kaput.

This lowlife demurely hung her head in "shame" before the cameras---reading off the criminal charges that will put her in jail. But to the astute observer, she is hiding plenty. The FBI needs to uncover:

WHO IS GIVING HER MARCHING ORDERS? The FBI needs to subpoena her phone records, emails and snail mail .....

NY POST EXCERPT---Her head hanging in shame, Gabriela Rosa, 47, who was elected in 2012, admitted to:

<><> filing bogus falsified documents to the federal government in which she lied about her first marriage to obtain citizenship.

<><> bribing a US citizen w/ $8000 to engage in the fraudulent nuptials while she maintained a romantic relationship with another man. She is currently married to latino Victor Estrella and has a 14-year-old son.

<><> committing the fraud between 1996 and December 2005, when she became a US citizen.“I married the person, and it was not a real marriage,” she told Judge Denise Cote.

<><> Rosa also pleaded guilty to making false statements in a 2009 personal-bankruptcy filing. She failed to include her husband’s earning and omitted her ownership of a co-op apartment.

NOTE Her resignation was part of the plea and she is banned from ever again seeking office in the US. The feds said that despite the fraud, they now consider Rosa a US citizen and will not deport her back to her native Dominican Republic.

In her official biography----which was scrubbed from the Assembly Web site within minutes of her plea----Rosa lied and had boasted of becoming a US citizen. “In 2005, Gabriela became a proud United States citizen, allowing her to deepen her involvement in government and civics by running for office and opening the door for her to further improve the lives of her neighbors in northern Manhattan,” the bio stated.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Ms. Rosa came to New York City illegally in 1994. “This is my American dream,” she told The Daily News after winning the Democratic primary in 2012.

Before running for office, as an illegal, Ms. Rosa worked as a staff member in the City Council and the Assembly. She served as chief of staff to former City Councilman Miguel Martinez....Martinez pleaded guilty in 2009 to stealing more than $100,000 through his Council office and a pair of tax-exempt nonprofit organizations.

NOTE: If she knew of, and failed to report misuse of tax dollars, she could be adjudged guilty of a crime.

Adriano Espaillat (D-Manhattan), a Dominican Republic native, and his penchant for sucking up tax dollars for so-called “needy latino community groups.” Dominican-born Democrat Espaillat sucked up 100 “member items” as an assemblyman, including $500,000 public monies for his tax-exempt nonprofit, the grandiously named, “Northern Manhattan Coalition for Economic Development.”

(NOTE WELL: “Member items” is a nauseating extortion scam for greedy NY state legislative members---several have been nailed for similar scams).

DOMINICAN-BORN DEMOCRAT ESPAILLAT IS KNOWN AS SENATOR PORK----FBI agents want to know about Democrat Espillat’s use of public monies for “needy groups” that employed a covey of Dominican Republic natives including Espaillat’s sister-in- law, a Democratic district leader and several campaign consultants.

FBI scrutiny comes as DEMOCRAT Espaillat’s ex-COS sings about Albany corruption---after he got wired for the FBI. Nelson Castro, a Dominican Republic native, got wired to save himself—---earlier, he lied to the FBI WRT a parade of Dominican Republic illegals, who elected him using corrupt methods including registering to vote in several districts---even using Castro’s address to register.

Espillat zipped his lips when asked whether Dominican Democrat Castro was singing to the FBI about Espaillat. BTW, Espaillat’s economic development scam closed down in 2011 when the electorate was onto the member items scam. But Espillat appointed his scammong n/p’s executive director to a $50,000-a-year job as Sen Espaillat’s “special assistant.”

The Rangel/Espaillat race was being touted as a symbol of latino voting strength---since it had morphed from an Afro district to a latino district.

Why would ANYONE be surprised, she is dumb-o-crat state lawmaker and pleaded guilty Friday to federal charges in a deal that requires her to resign from office, admitting that she obtained legal residency and ultimately citizenship through a sham marriage and then lied to bankruptcy authorities years later to erase $30,000 of debt.
