Glenn Grothman wins endorsement of former Senator Rick Santorum for U. S. Congress

Glenn will be going up against an establishment Republican in the WI primary on August 12, 2014. He is running to replace our RINO, Tom Petri. The local and national RNCs are backing Joe Leibham who has been primed to take Petri's seat. The true conservative willing to fight for We the People is Glenn Grothman. While the other candidates dance around the tough issues with vague, canned answers, Glenn takes the tough problems as his platform. The number one issue he has fought against in WI is the proliferation of welfare. Glenn is not afraid to say the breakdown of the family is our # one problem in America. When a single welfare mom is better off on her own with $40,000 worth of benefits, than marrying her child's father; there is something wrong with the system. If you know anyone in the 6th district of WI, please encourage them to vote for and support Glenn. This fight is similar to the Cochran situation (GOP party base throwing all of its weight and money toward the chosen one who will stay in step). If you feel moved to avoid another situation where the establishment Republicans bully out the Tea Party candidate, please financially support Glenn Grothman.

He forced Petri to retire and the vultures came in.

Right. Glenn announced his decision to run against Petri. Two days later Duey Strobel announced. And within a week, Joe Leibham announced.

Several years ago, we BEGGED Leibham to run against Petri who had wasted space in Congress for the last 29 years, and Joe wouldn’t do it then. But this time he goes up against an awesome conservative.

So, we have 3 Republicans spending all of their money on a Republican primary and one of them will have to go up against the lone DemonCrat in November, who will have a war chest available to him.

Is Petri still alive? In my all too distant youth, we would gather at Young Republican national get togethers for rousing choruses of “Let’s send Petri back to Oshkosh!” to the tune of I’ve been workin’ on the railroad!
