Well, I’ve been hoodwinked. According to a few “enlightened” folks, the USA DID NOT WIN either World War, we we just along for the ride.
Honestly, what resides in the woodwork on here is as pathetic as it is humorous.

Honestly, what resides in the woodwork on here is as pathetic as it is humorous.” I just followed the comments up and the idea arguing whether or not we ‘won’ those wars reminds me of arguments I used to have as a kid, and don't miss. Arguing over the meaning of word 'win' and 'we'.
I do recall that Germany and Japan surrendered unconditionally to the allies, that seems like a clear win to the allies.
