With the raging war between the Sunni and the Shiites in Iraq, and with the presidents apparent animosity toward the Iraqi government it seems important to understand if Obama has ties to the Sunnis or to the Shiites. Does anyone on FR know the answer to this?
In time, it will be. ;-)
Agreed. Sunni.
vaudine
Totalitarian
(what difference, at this point, does it make? /Hillaryous)
Islam considers dogs as haram or forbidden. But, Islam also allows deception. They also make reference to Allah the Deceiver in the Koran.
He’s Sunni, but he’s full of Shiite.
he seems to side with the most terroristic, murderous elements in any situation....you can depend on it.. he gives them political support, tons of deadly weapons, billions of American taxpayer dollars like to the “PLO” or “PA” and to his “Syrian Islamic rebels” and to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, and military training (also continuing air protection of the Iranian IslamoNazi nuclear bomb and ICBM factories)
(i think he’s probably sunni, but....it appears he doesn’t care very much which Islamic faction he supports so long as its the most violent or anti-American, anti=Christian, anti-Jewish ones available in any given place and time...)
Okay, so I guess it’s out in the open now.
President is “Sunni-Side-UP”...the medallion shared also by Bush is a good indicator. Bush recieved his from the King of Saudi Arabia at the end of his terms, and Obama recivied his immediately after assuming office. Continuity of symbolic if not actual allegiance was maintained. No sitting President should accept honors from other countries for undisclosed, non-delineated services.
His favorite song is “Sunni Boy”.
thanks.
He’s a piece o shite
.
From a historic viewpoint as recorded, with Muhammad's death in AD 632, disagreement broke out over who should succeed him as leader of the Muslim community. Umar (Umar ibn al-Khattab), a prominent companion of Muhammad, nominated Abu Bakr. Others added their support and Abu Bakr was made the first caliph. This choice was disputed by some of Muhammad's companions, who held that Ali (Ali ibn Abi Talib), his cousin and son-in-law, had been designated his successor.[1] None of Muhammad's sons survived into adulthood, therefore direct hereditary succession was never an option. Later, during the First Fitna and the Second Fitna the community divided into several sects and groups, each of which had its own idea about successorship. Finally, after the Rashidun caliphate turned into Monarchies and Sultanates, while in most of the areas during Muslim history Sunnis have held power and Shiites have emerged as their opposition. From a religious viewpoint, Muslims later split into two groups, Sunni and Shia. Sunnis assert that even though Muhammad never appointed a successor, Abu Bakr was elected first caliph by the Muslim community. The Sunnis recognize the first four caliphs as Muhammad's rightful successors. Shias believe that Muhammad explicitly named his successor Ali at Ghadir Khumm and Muslim leadership belonged to him who had been determined by divine order.
That is from Wikipedia.. And that's what all this infighting is about. Iran is Shiite. . ISIS is Sunni.
Not to mention the bowing to the Saudi King.
I think that he may be a Shia (he is very pro-Iran), but a man who owes a lot to the Sunni Saudis, for his education and for getting him the POTUS job.
Well, since Obama is full of Shit, I’d almost go with Shiite.
Don’t forget that most of his life was spent among communist party people and assorted marxists (Weathermen, CPUSA, black marxists, Kenyan marxists, the Odinga family (also Moslems, in part), college marxists, left Christian marxists in Washington State, and Chicago reds of several types).
Obama is, perhaps, in the end, a Marxist in a burqa.
Shiite but it is spelled wrong.
Halfrican.
