A shocking new report from the Center for Immigration Studies claims to prove that every single new job created in America for the last fourteen years has gone to immigrants, legal and illegal. This would fly in the face of those who claim that immigration is an economic boon to native born Americans:
The CIS report found that over the last 14 years, people who were born in the United States held 114.8 million jobs in 2000, and held 114.7 million jobs in 2014, a drop of 127,000.
But it’s an entirely different picture for immigrants — 5.7 million more jobs were held by immigrants in the U.S. in 2014 compared to 2000.
Immigration advocates often say that immigrants don’t supplant jobs for Americans, that they do jobs Americans won’t, but if that were the case, there would be more jobs of both, instead of a loss for native born Americans.
“All of the net increase in employment went to immigrants in the last 14 years partly because, even before the Great Recession, immigrants were gaining a disproportionate share of jobs relative to their share of population growth,” the report found. “In addition, natives’ losses were somewhat greater during the recession and immigrants have recovered more quickly from it.”
Now there are all sorts of complicated reasons why this would be the case – immigrants are more willing to relocate to places where there are more jobs, they take lower wage jobs which are more in abundance in a weak economy, and they also have much fewer unemployment insurance options, so they’re more likely to pursue jobs than native born citizens who can rely on social services.
Even so, as many advocate for “comprehensive immigration reform,” America must demand from their representatives an answer to this question – if immigrants are taking all new jobs under the current broken system, why shouldn’t we expect it to get worse with an amnesty bill that rewards illegal immigrants crossing our border?
I am going to make a guess, there is no requirement for illegals and immigrants to comply with drug testing?
As someone living in Texas, I didn't need this study to tell someone that Illegals actually are taking jobs away from Americans and Legal Immigrants.
I could go on and on about this but what's the point. The politicians have decided to cater to these folks at the expense of the people they tool an oath to represent and we can't do anything about.
I guarantee you that if one of the border states currently took matter into their own hands and did something about the Illegal invasion, Obama would defend the Illegals BEFORE be would lift a finger to help an American Citizen. It's hard to even express how I feel as I watch the country circle the drain.
For every job seeker that is met with “You are over qualified for this job”.
It is time to begin voting against every candidate endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce. Endorsement by those bastards must become an electoral death warrant.

Well fortunately those were only jobs that “Americans” wouldn’t do!
So now when we read reports from the Bureau of Labor Statistics such as, ‘’217,000 New Jobs Created in May,’’ not only will we think how small the number is but we’ll also know that most of those jobs went to illegal immigrants, with only a few going to any of the millions of Americans trapped in long-term unemployment.
And the number of illegal aliens stays at 11 million, year after year. /sarc
No shit! I’m a contractor in Florida. Every single trade is now done by hispanics. Every single one. I saw a anglo-looking framing crew today and just about fainted.
Not surprising... What really fun is all the American families sending their kids off to ‘dumbed down’ colleges...taking out impossible loans... only to discover that ‘immigrants’ are taking the tech and medical jobs too...
And that was their goal.

Same here in NJ; white tradesmen are doomed. A friend who works as a roofer described how he couldn’t become a supervisor because he couldn’t speak Spanish. The workers weren’t even good; they would lie about their familiarity with the tools then learn on the job.

Defnitely happening in accounting, too; out of three auditors from a large accounting firm I’ve dealt with, one was Canadian, one was Filipino, and one was American. As with the tech sector, there is no shortage of Americans with backgrounds in accounting looking for work...
Our ancestors would be shooting by now.

Yeah... Jobs like fighting in Iraq.. Funny that... There is no way Americans refuse to do jobs. What is true, however, is that liberals are going to be replaced one to one with illegals (gays, abortion etc...). Liberal talk radio is replaced by Spanish stations in NYC...
