HOUSTON, Texas--Breitbart Texas has confirmed that on Thursday morning a Mexican military helicopter flew into the U.S. and shot at Border Patrol agents.
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol provided Breitbart Texas with a statement that said, "At approximately 5:45 a.m. Thursday morning, a Mexican law enforcement helicopter crossed approximately 100 yards north into Arizona nearly 8 miles southwest of the Village of San Miguel on the Tohono O'odham Indian Nation while on a law enforcement operation near the border. Two shots were fired from the helicopter but no injuries or damage to U.S. property were reported. The incident is currently under investigation."
According to a report from local media outlet KVOA, Mexican authorities reportedly apologized to the U.S. subsequent to the fired shots.
It may be easy to label the crossing of armed Mexican authorities as ironic, given that in April, U.S. citizen and Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi was imprisoned in Mexico.

And this is the group who are holding our Marine indefinitely for accidentally crossing into their hellhole with guns?
Awaiting the massive response by FedGov. Should I hold my breath?
We should be using our military choppers to go get our Marine. I bet 200 years ago the Marines would have.
338 Lapua round through the cockpit ought to send a message....
100 years ago they probably would have. It is unbelievable how this administration lets Mexico push us around. The Mexican military is so corrupt the cartels and coyotes probably bribe them into making these “mistakes”, knowing that U.S. doesn’t care.
End of discussion.

GtG
I bet thirty years ago the Marines would have gone in, but that would not have been necessary under Maximus Reagan.
Why does our government allow this? Had this been done by Al Qaeda, retaliation would be swift. Why does Mexico get a pass?
Oh I forgot we gave a Liar in Chief, and no such action will take place so long as he's in office.
Headline should read:
MEXICO COMMITS ACT OF WAR.
I really think this a mole hill. Yes the chopper should have known where it was at and yes it should not have fired on our guys .... but ...
only two shots fired and the chopper disengaged right away and Mexico apologized. Considering that the action took place in the half light of early morning and having been an Infantryman on a helicopter, I can tell you it is easy to make a mistake.
Shoot it down!
I was thinking more along the lines of the transmission case. I realize that in the summer the Rio Grand can be shallow in places, but do they really expect us to believe that they didn't see it?
This isn’t the first time they made this mistake. Sounds like a good diversion for our Border Patrol so some drugs/illegals can sneak in.
That would only take 1 F-16. I would advise that the rest of your squadron take out the helicopter's base.
This happened in AZ. No Rio Grande, just open desert.
You know what this is? They see nobody is at the helm in the White house so it’s a free for all. Stampede towards the border, gangs coming in, taking pot shots at border agents. Same with Iraq. They can do anything they want, and they know nobody is going to stop them. Right now there’s the perfect storm going on in NYC. It’s the bullseye for terrorists and the Mayor there just put an end to Islamic surveillance. That combined with this fool in the White house who is letting anybody and anything over the border - It’s only a matter of time. It’ll be interesting to see the excuses liberals come up with if 100,000 people are killed this time.
Shoot back!
