Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday
McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, Ive given money Ive done everything theyve asked me to do and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me we feel betrayed.
Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I dont think I could do it.
McDaniel: I prayed about it last night my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.
Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like youve been betrayed.
McDaniel: Sean, I was I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends I dont understand!
But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry
I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad, Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.
As does Rand
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochrans efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.
Im for more people voting, not less people voting, Paul told reporters Wednesday.
All,
1) Rand Paul is a goofball,I couldn’t feel good about him in a higher office.
2)Ted Cruz could have just not commented on Cochran’s “win”.
3)Cochran ,with the assistance of the GOPe,libeled a fellow Republican ,which is most certainly a despicable act and violates Reagan’s advice.
4)Cochran losing MIGHT send a message to the GOPe.
5)Voting FOR someone is better than voting AGAINST someone.Vote for a good person ,not the lesser of two evils. As the sign outside a small church read” the lesser of two evils is still evil”.
6)The GOPe lost the Presidency last time by promoting a less evil candidate ,Romney, than the evil fraud already in the White House. And millions of people chose NOT to vote at all when such was the choice.
7)HiTechRedneck needs to spend some time meditating quietly.
8) Christian ministers who support abortion and homosexual “rights” are wolves in sheep’s clothing and should be shunned and ignored.
9)There was an old French bishop who said the voice of the people IS the voice of God;and anyone who believes in the Bible as the Word of God knows that is not so,for people often choose evil pleasures over righteousness. The Golden Calf is only one example.
Forgot
10)Doctors ,or anyone, can be certified as geniuses yet have horrible judgment ,morals, and ethics. Getting certified as a doctor or lawyer or boiler operator only means you demonstrated competency in performing designated tasks.I have had incompetent and uncaring doctors and lawyers.
You are quite wrong about this.
The GOP is not what you think it is. They are right to hate and to fear the "Tea Party", because the Tea Party wants to destroy them and their corrupt, fascistic little empire they have built with their friends across the aisle.
I can't take everyone acting surprised and hurt. Who the f*** did you thin you were up against? Did you think, if McDaniel got 50.1% of the vote, that they would not have supported the Democrat or run an "independent" to make sure he lost?
We are exactly what they say we are. We are trying to organize a political movement to destroy their world.
Did you REALLY think they were going to be inviting us in for sweet tea or a mint julep?
Clueless..... perhaps, but more likely, it’s just like zippy. Some people think he is just inept and bungling through his 8 years as prez. I think he knows exactly what he’s doing and is delighted.
Perhaps the same goes for the GOPe. They hate us conservatives. Look what Boehner did to Michelle Bachmann and others - demoted them when they tried to make waves. They knew IMHO the IRS was targeting those groups and Gibson Guitar, Hobby Lobby. Do you think they could have screamed bloody murder? yep. But they did not, which means they wanted that too!
I’m disgusted.
In a direct comparison, we would be Moses. What God does behind the scenes is one thing. As he is God, he can do anything and it just ‘is’ Good or evil are what he says they are if you get what I mean. But I have yet to see one area/story/episode where God had ‘us’ personally/directly rely on evil to achieve a good result. The whole book is about us rejecting evil, praying to be freed from evil, throwing evil into lakes of fire etc.
Well yeah, they’ve been betraying me for almost 50 years now. But I haven’t sent them a dime in almost 7 years now after being a 4 digit contributor for most of my adult life. Nor will I ever again.
Saul and the Amalekites
I won’t be voting for Cochroach, and to hell with the GOP. They love rats so much, they can serve under them for eternity AFAIC.
By itself thats very true. But when you consider that a portion of those have the same doc sued multiple times successfully It’s either a really unfortunate run of really bad luck or someone got their degree from Affirmative Action State or H1B University.
Or they are simply not smart enough to do their job.
Docs arent any different than any other profession. Some are great, some are idiots. Some brilliant, some not much. There is nothing really today in a society that dumbs down entry requirements from everything from Navy Seal to Astronaut, that prevents idiots from anything.
Amen. They all hedge their bets in the end.
I’ll never lift a finger to help a rat get in office, but I won’t be voting for Cockroach either.
Point being?
Amen again. What difference does it make, to quote Shrillary? They seem to be merely two different paths to the same hell.
Amen again. They wanted all this rope, they know what they can do with it. This is not being said in the heat of the moment. I have coldly and rationally decided, “a pox on both their houses”.
I would really doubt if McDaniels considers himself a part of the GOP at this point,
Absolutely not. My arm would fall off if I marked a ballot for a rat. What is with all this exhorting Freepers to aupport rts, when we don’t support leftists in the GOP? I don’t have to vote for a rat to not vote for the Gutless Ole Pedophiles.
evil for good...
Saul and the Amalekites is a tough story to figure out. I’ve read one claim that centuries later, a descendant was Haman who tried to exterminate the Jews in the book of Esther.
It is only our faith in God that tells us the extermination of the Amalekites including women and babies would be justice. There’s nothing obvious in the story that says so.
I don’t understand what you are saying. I went back and read the passage. Saul defied God. Good is following a direct order from God. If God tells you to do something, it is Good because it’s God telling you. Mortal rules and perceptions of good and evil do not apply.
god did not send Saul to do evil. He sent him to act out his will. The only way Saul did evil was in defying God.
