After the shameful and disgusting actions of the GOP Establishment in the Mississippi Republican U.S. Senate runoff, where they used Democrat tactics of screaming racism and promising big government to get the vote out to Democrat voters to cross over and help Thad Cochran win, is it time that conservatives realize that a GOPE can never be trusted? Time and time again, the ruling class aka Karl Rove, Boss Hogg Barbour, big donors, K Street lobbyists and RINO's continue to stab conservatives in the back and would rather risk losing an election to a Democrat than give up their power to a true conservative or a group of them any day!
Many conservatives think that next time it will be different, that next time these RINO's will finally learn their lesson and acquiesce to the voice of their base when in reality they don't give a d*mn about the base. They could care less about their voters because as long as they share some power in D.C. then their true voters, the K street/big donor class will take care of them. I'm tired of falling for these jokers that they will straighten up and fly right, it isn't going to happen. Either we move on with our own voice being heard or we give up
McDaniel needs to challenge every single vote.
There is no way Cochran won this thing legitimately.
“There is no way Cochran won this thing legitimately.”
I believe you to be correct as Democrats never win legitimately, and it was Democrats Cochran called to duty to win his election for him.
Thad won by roughly 7,000 votes tonight. Hinds county is roughly 75% Dem. A robo call went out stating “say no to the tea party. They hate the first black president... say no to the tea party by voting for Thad”
The call was placed mainly to african americans in MS
Here are the number from the main targeted county.. Hinds:
On June 3rd
T. Cochran (i)
65.7%
10,928
C. McDaniel
33.8%
5,621
TONIGHT:
T. Cochran (i)
72.0%
17,927
C. McDaniel
28.0%
6,962
Total vote count with 99.8% reporting:
189,355 thad
182,756 McDaniel
You said it.
I would just like people to reflect on this.
Except for 2... count them 2... congressional elections, NOT A SINGLE RINO LOST THEIR SEAT this cycle.
“Oh yes, we have to take over the GOP!” With them having Democrats decide the damn election?!
By all means, lets involve ourselves in 2016 when we choose a presidential nominee for the Republican Party, but in these battles... time to go our own way I think. See how well Karl Rove does with his money and cronies. I bet they lose everything.
Happens all the time in various places around the country.
Liberals are just better at the slight-of-hand than we conservatives when it comes to the bait and switch game.
bump
The TeaParty in MS needs to vote for the Democrat.
wouldn't we all rather have Romney in the White House????
0% chance I would vote for Thad in the general election.
We will not regain our liberties or anything close to what our Founding Fathers envisioned through votes and politicians anymore. Those days have passed.
sign of the times are tough all over...
Romney ran harder against the conservatives in the primary than he ran against Obama other than that first debate! We told you people that Romney may be a nice guy but he was the wrong person at this time to run against Obama and that he had a lack of appeal in the rural areas of the states where conservative voice is strong
Yes, they are.
Well, prepare to undergo a vicious assault from the Rove squad. You see “Republicans gooooood... Democrats baaaaaad”, as Michael Savage so often says in mocking.
The best thing to do now is encourage all Tea Party people to vote Dem in November so it’ll teach the Pubbies not to stab conservatives in the back.
Rove has done so much damage. Will he ever go away?
Hahahhaa. NO! Why would he? He’s just won the entire primary season, with the applause of certain Freepers. The man is feeling his oats!
“The hand that held the dagger has struck it into the back of its neighbor.”
When I see more people willing to fight a mere war of words against their online ‘conservative’ BFFs than siting silently while said BFFs spread GOP propaganda far and wide, I will believe they will go to a voting booth and make a more important contribution.
But since most can’t do that much, my faith isn’t great in people doing anything but repeating 2012.
