The 3-year-old girl who was reportedly kicked out of a KFC in Jackson, Mississippi, because the scarring on her face remnants of a pit bull attack were disturbing customers, was nothing more than an elaborate hoax, reports Laurel Leader-Call.
The family of Victoria Wilcher claimed that she and her grandmother were asked to leave a KFC restaurant because her dog-attack scars were scaring patients, prompting the fast food chain to donate $30,000 to cover the girls medical bills.

REMOVE. DOUBLE POST.
Beat me to it!
The scars and dog attack was real or not?
The scars and dog attack were real.
Likely white trash using the dogs to keep people from stealing their drug trash. That’s the only people that own pit bulls in Mississippi - white trash.
So they used the sympathy to scam money from KFC and sucker people willing to help.
That’s the scam. They were never asked to leave KFC because of how their kid looked. They made up a story.
Similar to the ‘anti-gay’ or ‘anti-black’ stuff that shows up on receipts and then we find out later it’s all a scam.
Yes, the scars and dog attack are real.
I remember seeing a photo of the little girl. She obviously suffered some serious damage, but they also weren’t so bad that I’d give them a second glance. I can’t imagine anyone being upset by them.
I am more disturbed by butch women wearing flannel.
Were scaring patients? What the hell were all the patients doing at KFC???
bump
Well, yeah, they’re real, but they were her grandpa’s dogs.
LOL! Good catch. Maybe they were patiently waiting to be waited on.
I wonder if the grandmother will be taken to court over this hoax and be made to pay back the money she extorted from KFC? This sounds criminal to me.
The scam was wrong. But the donations to help her recover from injuries that were inflicted upon her are still a decent thing to do for a little girl who is surrounded by unscrupulous people.
Patients: victims of KFC-induced heart disease.
Do you know any owners of pit bulls from MS? If not, then you shouldn't generalize. I know several owners of pit bulls, some in my own family, and I can tell you they are anything but white trash, while their dogs are the sweetest, most lovable, and loyal pets you will ever find!
It's just like kids, it's all in the upbringing.
The odds that these unscrupulous people will do the right thing with monies received are pretty slim.
Well, now that his hoax has been revealed, hopefully adjustments were made. If KFC were smart, they gave the money in such a way it would be used for legitimate purposes.
I’ve wondered about some of these “stupid restaurant employee” stories...just get an employee who is willing to play along with the “victim” and do some stupid or racist thing, then after they’re fired, split the payoff from the company.
But you can handle being in a KFC with them right?
I actually saw a lady once who really was freaking me and my daughter out, my kid was really little, but luckily she just caught a glance, I was sitting right across from her.
The poor woman, I don’t know what it was she had. Something really strange with her eyes. They kept moving around, and seemed to be bulged out. Really, like googly eyes to an extreme degree.
She looked like something out of “who shot Roger Rabbit”.
I also once worked for a very large company and would see a woman in the cafeteria, she had some sort of palsy or whatever you would call it. Her face was constantly in motion. A hundred expression would flash across her face from minute to minute.
I felt very bad for both these woman.
Is it heartening or disheartening to find out this is a scam?
I swear, I’m never believing another story like this again.
That little boy has cried wolf about 10 too many times.
Could have been a "white trash" dog but Jackson, Mississippi is comprised of only 18% white people, "trash" or otherwise.
