Yes I’ve used Uber, Mrs S several times a week back and forth to the airport etc. As cheap as a cab with the tip, all their cars have GPS so you can tack them online where they are exactly...and they get where you are FAST!
I use Uber-X which is a non Sadan because they are even cheaper. Last one I took was a Prius, first time I’ve been in one and it was actually nice.
Or get pulled over and ticketed.
I admit I’d never heard of them, and had to look up and read about the service. Good idea for a metro area ride.

I do have an i-phone for being on call for work....and I have come near tossing that bastard out the window many times! I dont give a damn if I am on call, I refuse to answer the damned thing if I am on the road....!
(there is something to be said for us old fashioned folks...that can actually survive without talking t someone on the phone for days! ;-)

I always pull over to answer/make calls. But at least I don’t have one of those iThings in my face all the time! When I’m downtown walking, I see people walking into phone poles, mailboxes, buildings; I grabbed-back one couple jaywalking right into traffic with their faces buried in the phones and thumbs bouncing all over the place; probably texting. They though I was nutz for saving their butts!
When I leave home, I want to *unplug* from my industrial-grade desktop and only take known calls.
I dont even know what my work phone ringtone is, I just know it is annoying as hell
