There's a reason why people like Bill Clinton and Dick Cheney who were pursuing careers in politics did what they felt they needed to do to dodge the draft. They knew damn well that this country is filled with voters -- from all over the political spectrum -- who would bend over backwards to make excuses for them.
What does Cheney’s lack of military service have to do with his analysis of the situation in Iraq? The answer is not one damn thing. You seem to conflate issues to serve some goal. Why that is I have no idea but doing that does not give credence to your views on either issue.
