BLUE BELL, Pa., July 26, 2012 – Unisys (NYSE: UIS) announced today that it has been awarded the Enterprise Storage Acquisition task order from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide private cloud-based storage for the agency’s information records.

This task order, awarded against GSA’s Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract, has a one-year base period and nine one-year options and is potentially worth up to $139 million over 10 years, if all options are exercised. It includes pricing for each year based on the IRS’s estimate of its storage requirements.

Under the task order, Unisys will initially acquire storage assets now owned and managed by IRS and will manage the more than 7.5 petabytes of storage space currently in multiple IRS data centers and facilities. Unisys will then plan, build, deploy and maintain a new IRS storage environment, transitioning those assets to a private cloud-based storage-as-a-service model in which the agency will pay for storage capacity as needed.

Correct. The plant in Pueblo was Sperry, then Loral, then Unisys.

This is what I was looking for, from wiki about Loral -

Loral was accused of transferring technology to China in 1996. The incident arose as a result of an investigation into the launch failure of Intelsat 708, a Space Systems/Loral–built satellite. In a 2002 agreement with the State Department and Department of Justice the company agreed to pay $20 million in fines to settle the matter and to improve its compliance procedures. In the agreement Loral officials neither admitted nor denied the government's charges, but Loral executives acknowledged "the nature and seriousness of the offenses alleged by the department in the draft charging letter, including the risk of harm to the security and foreign policy interests of the United States", and stated that they wished to make amends through the payment of restitution. Schwartz subsequently released a statement accepting "full responsibility for the matter" and portrayed the incident as an error by a single Loral employee.

"And .. I’m guessing .. Valerie Jarrett’s name is mixed in with some of those emails; or another of Obama’s handlers."

I'll bet the IRS leaders are scared to death. Can you imagine the conversation?

We really don't want my name to appear anywhere in this investigation, do we? How are the kids these days...?

Sorry, I just have the feeling that Issa’s heart is not in this. Or perhaps he’s a victim of the Peter Principle?

If these people get away with this, I will conclude that rinos were part of the targeting of conservatives. We know from there own comments and actions in primaries and general elections, that rinos would rather democrats win than conservatives. Conservatives will not vote with rinos like democrats will.

We keep talking about a third party. If republicans continue to “let” democrats have their way, there is no reason to stay with them. Republicans never fight dirty like democrats do, (we want to be friends with the other side of the aisle) except against conservatives. We might have to start from scratch to take our country back, but staying with republicans is just knocking your head on the wall. We are only hurting ourselves. It's time to use common sense and stop believing the lies.

The whole thing is a cover-up of who Lerner was sending emails to and what their response was to her.

And .. I’m guessing .. Valerie Jarrett’s name is mixed in with some of those emails; or another of Obama’s handlers.

Or obama himself?
