Good Morning All. Thanks AB for the yeoman’s work each and every Sunday you do for all of us here on FR.
The story of the day should be the blatant lawbreaking and coverup by the federal government’s most powerful agency, the IRS. Do we really think Feinstein will be grilled on this issue?
It is plain that the Democrat media is not interested at all in finding out what Obama knew and when did he know it.
It would be nice if Netenyahu talked over the MSM and 0commie dire fly to us...the oppressed citizenry.
Morning AB, All
Thank you AB, as always, for doing this thread. Thank you yon ladies and gems for putting up with me. Cause later in the thread I got a story and it really happened.
It involved my daughter saving her neighbor’s life (also MY neighbor as daughter lives across street from me) and hey, I thought I had all the men but this girl has them all, on the road, at the gas station, visitors to various neighbors. She recently took off her wedding ring and the men have noticed.
Which is interesting because I never thought that she might get married again. Not that marriage is near but she’s NOT going back with that awful husband.
Between her and I we got the male population of Sussex county pretty tied up.
Heh.
I want to say I am so angry at the IRS, at this poor soldier stuck in Mexico in what is obviously a mistake, the situation in Iraq and on and on and on.
But no, I am not really mad at these folks. Obama is only doing what he was elected to do, which is to put a price on everything and launder that money through to the peeps, voters and friends.
I am furious at the Republicans and I know, I know...what’s new.
What, John McCain knew nothing about the VA abuses in his own state? He who is the ersatz champion of POW rights and McCain can’t help the soldier in Mexico? Obama’s waiting for an offer of the right amount of money because it’s never about idealogy with him and his, it’s always about how much money we can bring in and how to best re-distribute to the supporting peeps.
I know it’s the same old complaint and yeah, the pubs excoriated the IRS pretty good but they need to do like the Dems, send people out everywhere, remind of the power the IRS has and the joke of them having lost the emails.
I spent a large part of my life dealing with the IRS. I did payroll most of my life and was charged with sending in the money withheld from paychecks. Even back then the IRS was an arrogant bunch of people.
One time I got a notice after filing my quarterly return .a form you calculate all money withheld and all money sent to the IRS and they better agree of Lucy got some ‘splaining to do.
This was for a large Baltimore hospital and know that the FICA and fed tax withholdings was in the 50-75K every two weeks payroll. The thing they sent me said I was short over TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!
You have to send in this money within three days of payroll so on the quarterly return you list paydates and money sent in. The twit at the IRS said I didn’t send in one week’s worth of withholdings.
Of course I tore the payroll department, found cancelled checks, didn’t sleep nights, told the management and, natch, called the IRS.
You can’t imagine how this upset me. It would upset anyone for God’s sake. The IRS accusing me of shorting them by over $20,000 and my employer was not happy.
Finally, with payroll docs verifying the amount to be sent, and with cancelled check to prove I sent the correct amount, I talk to the three year old at the IRS who sent me this notice.
I remain on the phone as she examines my faxed documents and cancelled check proof.
“Well okay, I guess we made a mistake,” the toddler said.
I screamed.
I screamed into the phone and I screamed some more. All the payroll department came and wrested the phone from my hand.
“So that’s it?” I shout. “You, la-di-da just accuse me of not sending you almost half year of my pay and ’oops, my bad?’...that’s it?”
“Don’t get so upset,” the IRS child told me.
They have no idea. NO IDEA. They don’t bother to re-check themselves because they are God, right here on earth, the mighty IRS and I owe them money for THEIR mistake.
It took forever to get the fines and penalties they assessed us; in fact I had to get the little lesbian Barbara Mikulski to get involved.
The pubs got a great arguiing point with that kid in Mexico and the IRS and lookit, if the Dems had these scandals, we’d all know about it, every day, every minute, every second. The pubs would all be impeached.
Same old, same old.
Good morning, everybody. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post this every Sunday, AB.
Thanks AB....as our country is under attack, YOU , Jim Robinson and Freeperdom are ever vigilant for “Truth, Justice and the American Way!”
You are both SUPERMEN!!!!!
Wallace asks Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif a
question about Iraq.
He changes the question, and when pushed
... agrees with Obama. “everything on the table”.
He supports air strikes if Obama “has a strategy”.
He supports Obama by ignoring his role in ISIS training
and weaponization.
Wallace says McCarthy is powerful.
McCarthy purports that he is a “conservative”.
But, he admits that his family is “not Republican”.
Wallace points out he is “less conservative than (Cantor)”.
McCarthy evades the data.
He lies in the face to Wallace despite Wallace’s
cited sources.
Wallace begins lighting round.
Immigration. McCarthy supports Amnesty path.
McCarthy changes the subject to borders.
McCarthy calls the terrorists coming through
as “children”.
McCarthy points out that for transportation
he wants more than taxes.
He also wants federal land opened up to “build the bridges and roads”.
Wallace realizes he is delusional and moves on.
McCarthy says he can and will work with Obama.
He is a cryptoliberal.
The GOP is the Give.Obama.Power Party.
re: Kevin McCarthy
Wallace pops the question:
Are you a RINO?
Has a conservative voting record.
Amnesty? No citizenship, no residency until the border is secure.
XM Bank should expire.
Knows Harry Reid is a RAT obstructionist. No way to work with Obama since nothing makes it past the Senate.
Became conservative as he admired Reagan as a young person.
Started his own business at 19. Paid his own way to college.
Sleeps on sofa in his office in the Office Building, goes home to Bakersfield every weekend.

McCarthy says he sleeps on the couch in his office, because he doesn’t want to become Washington.
[Missed the early part of the interview.]
FNS Panel
Judy Woodriff (PBS) says Iraq was not as stable as the president told us a few years ago.
[Off the res? I noticed she referenced ‘the president’ rather than mentioning one by name. Also, does that mean ‘the president’ lied to us — again?]
Juan steps up to provide cover for Obama’s ‘no good alternatives’ foreign policy. Poor O is having to deal with bands of troublesome players. Bush was the one who decided we were going to pull out of Iraq. Cheney wrote a mean editorial against O.
FNS
I missed the early part of FNS.
I wonder whether Wallace mentioned or will mention anything about News Corp’s and Fox’s Murdoch meeting with Valeria Jarrett earlier this week regarding immigration reform?
FNS
Woodruff defends the IRS guy — she has known him for 30 years and he, like many of ‘us’, is a good Democrat.
Woodruff sounds more like his defense attorney than an investigative journalist or reporter.
I hope Bibi puts David Gregory in his place.
Larri, you watchin them clouds?
This thing is swirlin around and movin pretty fast.
The perfect plan for me involves finding a way to get as many of those people in one spot at a time so we can kill them as efficiently as possible.
Did I miss anything else?
Where does Erika Harold stand on amnesty?
She seemed to be talking like Rand Paul about what the word “amnesty” means. I think someone else should run against Davis next time. I don’t know which district would be best for Joe Walsh to run in. Amnesty is one of the issues you need to win. I can’t remember a big spending, pro-gun, pro-border Republican losing a primary.
I think Roskam lost the whip race in part because of being more open to amnesty than the others. Scalise has to deal with another Vitter type candidate coming along and hitting him if he pushes amnesty. Ted Yoho voted for Scalise. Steve King seemed to think Scalise was okay out of the options. What mandate will Scalise have with John Fleming and Vitter bashing amnesty and having high approval back home.
Rodney Davis did talk about the Dreamers back in 2013 when he roasted the gang of 8 bill. If Davis pushes amnesty he 20% of Republicans should stay at home and let the House Republican caucus reduce from 233 to 232.

Asked if that path could also lead to citizenship, he said he would want to see how the House version gets written.
Peter Roskam
Of the five, Roskam has sounded most amenable to the comprehensive immigration reform bill passed by the Senate over a year ago before House Republicans refused to bring it to a vote. Not long after it passed the Senate, he called the argument that the bill — which among a host of other things, would have put some 8 million undocumented immigrants on the path to citizenship — would give a boost to the economy really compelling, though he also said the bill ought to be broken into smaller pieces before being considered by the lower chamber.
