Totally agree with you concerning trafficking of children and going after the “escorts”. I say follow the money, and I’ll lay money down that it ends up in the White House. Yeah, you’re probably right: “we know that will never happen”, and considering the track record of those who have authority to do “something” and have not done anything or not nearly enough. Obama and his minions know they’re untouchable because too many of us are becoming passive about all this and thinking it’s easier to wait out his last 2 years. We sit here on FR and gripe and get pissed and riled up, but no one, or too few of us, want to really get involved, really get LOUD and take ACTION that counts. We have too much to lose (a job, a home, family), or not enough spare time. I just don’t know. Two years is too long to wait - I look at all the damage he’s done in the past six months and wonder where are we going to be at the end of these two more years.

In the grand scheme of things, my friend, NO ONE is untouchable. Karma is a nasty B*tch, always, and every time.

I’d suggest to you that being out here, waking folks up, even those lurkers passing through reading what you write, you ARE involved. And you are playing the part that God scripted for you, however small or large it is.
Never underestimate your own part in the world. It unfolds as God says it should, and not everyone is cut out for being in the political boxing ring. He created people for that purpose as well.

Sure. And “they” count on that. But you have YOUR voice, and YOUR personal sphere of influence, and YOUR ability to vocalize what you see going on - and you USE that ability to change a mind, wake up a soul, and fire up another American Spirit around you. You’re around people EVERY day, and you have a chance EVERY day to influence and teach someone... or just let them know that they’re not alone, and you see what’s going on as well.
There’s a quote from an old movie that I always keep in my head. “I once told you Von Ryan... if even ONE makes it out, it’s a Victory...”
And that is a true thing. Your voice is a lot larger than you know.
Do not let it get to you. Push back, whatever and however you can, and don’t ever quit pushing back.
We’re here for an eyeblink... but EVERY ONE of us gets his or her chance to stand up for what they believe in, one way or another.
