Malloy, a former CNN news writer and Air America Radio host, seldom lets an hour pass without complaining about a new law in Georgia that allows concealed carry permit holders to bring guns to bars, supermarkets, municipal buildings and some parts of airports.
Those who hold open carry permits and brandish their guns in public are another target of Malloy's ire, to the point that Malloy recently made this bizarre threat (audio) --
I guess what I'll do if I'm ever in that situation and I see one of these half-witted yahoos walking in with a weapon, high-caliber rifle like that, I'll just put on a berserk act. I will just start screaming Gun! Gun! Gun! Watch out, everybody hit the deck! Guns! Guns! Everybody! And then dial 911 and I will say, shots fired, which will bring every g**-damned cop within 15 miles. And then the half-wits with the long guns are going to panic and they're going to run out of the store and if that rifle isn't shouldered properly, the cop is going to take a look at that and put a bullet right in their forehead.

The cops love false 911 reports, Malloy. Really. Go ahead.
His armed guards won’t even be able to protect themselves.
Prison time will do him good.
What an typical liberal idiot.
Dumb ass likely does not understand in doing so he actually could/would be committing a crime. Disorderly conduct, risking or causing a catastrophe, harassment to name a few possible charges.
What is an “open carry permit”?
We have ‘em in Georgia.
bummer...
In the state of Georgia...
you do not need a permit or license to carry a long gun.
To carry a handgun, either openly or concealed,
you must have a “Georgia Weapons Carry License”.
The following exemptions do not require a “Georgia Weapons Carry License”:
...you may carry a handgun...
... while you are actively engaged in hunting, fishing or sport shooting.
... are on your own property, your own home, motor vehicle, or place of business.
... are in any private motor vehicle, if it is unloaded and enclosed inside a case,
and the vehicle owner has not forbid the possession of a weapon.
Georgia has reciprocity with Colorado, which as I understand it means that
if you come here, or if I go there, we have to abide by each other’s rules.
(disclaimer: the laws are complex, and I am not a lawdog)

I can carry openly when I want, and I do. Wouldn't care to in Denver or Boulder, cops might kill me there. Don't want their permission slip to hide it, so I just hide it if I have to go such places. Democrats live there.
I find the entire concept of requiring a “license” or a “permit”
in order to exercise a constitutionally protected, god-given right to be bizarre.
Yes. I took their course but never did turn in my papers and pay their fee. On enough lists already.
I believe what he is advocating is a CRIME.
That was a very strange post!
