There are tons of guys right here at FR who voted for candidates who had no chance of winning (for Tom Hoefling for example)...just so they could vote for some loser they thought was right (and God bless em).

But their wasted vote put Obama in the WH...and now he is destroying the country.

How's that working out for ya?

Great actually. We all can sleep well and use mirrors without making excuses online about how liberalism is really conservative.

Thomas Conrad Hoefling got something over 40,000 votes nationwide for President.
I doubt that was enough in any one state to change the electoral vote for president.
Heck he got 17% against the Iowa governor just recently. A vote getting machine he is.

They don’t come in bigger losers than Willard... ‘cept perhaps his creepy disciples.

I agree with your basic premise. However, third party votes did not elect Obama.

He beat Romney by 4,982,296 votes. Total votes for other than the two main candidates totaled 1,918,776.

What really elected Obama was the Romney or anti-Obama voters who stayed home, not those who voted for somebody else.

...their wasted vote...

The only wasted vote is for someone who doesn't represent you.

Until folks wake up to that fact there is no hope to save this free republic.

They'll just keep right on manipulating you into voting for worse and worse fascists.

After all, what tiny little signal have you given them that you're not okay with that?

Words spouted off in internet forums don't count. They just laugh at that. All they really care about is what you DO.

It’s the “burn it down” conservative way...

Hopefully, they and all of their families are sleeping well... When and if IRAQ falls and oil goes to 150+ a barrel, I’m hoping the PAIN is felt by all...

Rooster Redux:

That works out no worse than electing Mitt Romney to destroy the nation AND the GOP while he is at it. If this nation simply MUST be destroyed, it will have to be destroyed by brand name Demonrats not Demonrats in GOP drag. If that means that Muffie's trust fund is devastated, oh well.... Too bad sooooo sad.

I proudly voted for Tom Hoefling and will again until the useless ruling class GOP-E gives it up.

If and when Mittens might win, only Mittens wins. When I lived in Connecticut, I voted for old-fashioned God and country Democrat Tom Dodd over Lowell Weicker and for Joe Lieberman over Weicker as well. I would do it again, early and often. Romney and his little love slaves can go straight to hell. I will not vote for my nation's enemies of whatever social class. Sorry about you.

I got news for you, Rooster. Romney was totally one hundred percent ON BOARD with the whole global warming hoax. If he was president, he'd be doing THE SAME THING using the Republican party to do it, perhaps in slower increments, and you would be wailing here that you didn't vote for that ... you voted against Obama!

We'd still have big problems. You aren't ready to start voting FOR yet. That's your problem.

And America's.
